I think it is time for me to get onto D4 and DD2. I just recall that by the time I played D3, I was tired of not having the original Disgaea gang around and the blurry sprites were getting to be a pain to look at. The original Disgaea is ranked as one of my personal favorites. So there is that (and it explains me getting tired of not having the original gang around).

By the looks of it, it seems like the Ebola outbreak is destined to burn itself out rather than humanity starving it out. I find that to be a very depressing though.

Granted I played it about 10+ years ago and it was just odd. I just didn't felt satisfied after I beat it. And no, Chrono Trigger didn't color me (For better or worse) because I didn't even know of it prior to playing. Perhaps a replay is in order. Perception can change a bunch after all these years.

60 fps during cutscene is kind of weird. Perhaps that should be a thing people get used to so there won't be a jarrign change between gameplay and cutscenes.

Cutscenes should always be the same framerate as the game.
60 fps cutscenes in a 30 fps game would be strange though.

The Phantom Pain. I can't help but agree with the folks that it does look weird. It disappears though when it's during the gameplay portions.

I read it also runs at 60fps so it should be like what Ethan said. But I imagine 60fps cutscenes would be what it looked like in some early 3d games.
Or maybe The Hobbit? We aren't used to watching 60fps movies so I guess that's it.

FLD, it be good to get an impression on Akiba's Trip. I love brawlers but it definitely kind of odd (Especially odd when I say that...)

I wanted another shoe that I could wear daily that isn't made of leather that would work with shorts. I have a trail running shoe from the same company so I figured I would get another one from them (They fit quite snuggly to your feet). First thing I noticed was that they are really thin but that is to be expected if they are pose to mimic going barefoot. Other than the thinness, I got what I expected. I got it for pretty cheap so I'm not too worried about it. Last me a year and I'll be happy.

Yeah I suppose. I just personally haven't seen it so it is just odd and could easily be seen in the wrong way. Well I give my roommate and her friend a slight nod of approval with the open bedroom door.

Okay, maybe they are just friends but in what part of being friends involve sleeping and being in the same bed constitute being friends? Note, it is my female roommate with her male friend. The dude was just in shorts. She supposedly has a boyfriend who's still out and about working before moving in with us (Me and two other people). I personally don't care about my roommate's love life but one of the things me and another roommate has done was to allow rent to be split by person. The thing is, the female roommate has the master bedroom with its own bath. She is paying the same amount in rent as me and the other roommate. The only reason I am fine with that is that her boyfriend was going to move in eventually. We are splitting the rent by head count to help each other get a place ASAP. You help me, I help you kind of thing. If the master bedroom doesn't get filled with another person, I think I might have to get my other roommate's help to negotiate with the girl for a flat rate for that room. I'll be nice and have it be lower than if two people were in there but that is it. One last note... we all are graduate students in the same department. We can't avoid each other if relationship turns sour.

Since I'm teaching online classes (And I have a feeling it'll be a thing for me), I think I might get a decent microphone. I might even learn from how Youtube people (e.g. TB, CPG Grey and minutephysics) do their recordings.

Geology Goes to Hollywood. Its a class where the student get background information about certain topics and watch movies and documentaries pertaining to that topic. They will take quizzes, do labs, discuss and ask questions. I'm in charge of the lab portion of the course. Having a nice, clear mic would help when I comment on the students' discussion and work.

Lab portion? That's a perfect opportunity to use Rock Simulator, assuming you can actually get access to it, of course.

At first I was annoyed like FLD but then I remembered that I got the XL to play the massive backlog. I'm still a little ticked but seeing how Nintendo named the newer handhelds, I'm not even mad. I'm amused. It's a... bold strategy. Let us see how that will work out for Nintendo...

That idiot Darwin himself. He JUST taught the girl proper shooting stance with only one go with the Uzi. Muzzle climb can happen with semi autos to unprepared adults. Tossing a fully automatic Uzi to a 9 year old is just plain retarded. I feel terrible for the girl.

I didn't know Miyazaki (As director) is doing a TV series. Thing is though... 3D models. I'm surprised that he settle with that.
