Having that sort of effect on people seems almost expected since, in most cases, if there is a belief about heaven then there is one for hell as well. People also looks at the negative more than the positive. Hell, look at how people react to video games to see an example of this. Always got to look out fr number one...

Pretty much what I have done. I'm about to transfer my SSP map over to the SMP map, which share the same seed which essentially makes SMP my single player game since barely anybody comes by my server (Edit:I guess I can't for now..). Since I am pretty hands off, my only protection at the moment is to have a level backup every night. `Mojang's goal is to SMP and SSP to be the pretty much the same exact thing. It should in theory make it easier to update the game since they'll only be working on one version now, instead of two. It make life easier all around. I think. Not sure how it changes things for server owners. Lastly watch this dude.

If you do get locked out (or want to know how secure your PC is...) if it's a Windows PC, you can easily get bootable utility disks that will reset Windows passwords - though any files that were encrypted with Windows will be lost (though the owner can back up the keys somehow...)

Lets see if I can convince my mom to get a vermicompost bin plus worms and such for my B-day. All to play around with in my little garden and perhaps to use on my grandma's garden. Worm castings are good shit. Literally.

The best part is you can take your own soil samples and have an excuse to do so!
I have a friend that does this and most of her back yard is a garden. She lets people come in and take what vegetables they want, since she grows so much and just enjoys doing it all from scratch.

I'm heading to Lake Tahoe next week. Getting in some R&R before summer harvesting time. Best thing about living in CA is you never have to leave to find a good time.

I remember there was a video on YouTube of a group of guys shooting at a goat. Apparently shooting at the goat prompts an artillery strike on your position.

lol... Reminds me of a friend who was really into OFP. The scripting is nuts - he made a map where you enter by trying to safely land a Scud missile. At another point you can get into an M-16, but it doesn't go anywhere...

I didn't exactly buy them since you could order these from the NRCS website for free. The Key to Soil Taxonomy is a book I will need for a class in the fall which oddly is sold in on campus in a crappy printed edition. That book is the up-to-date version (2011) of the red book (1999) which still has the bulk of the stuff still in use. I only needed the small book but I got the red one just because. The book to the right is just what it is called. It gives a pretty good rundown of what is happening across the US (Like soil types) but of course you'll need to dig up more localized information. I think it'll come in use if I need to research anything. Posters are just posters. SOIL SCIENCE. FUCK YEAH!

@Chew Before you come back to add in an age jump:I am not sure how old Dany is currently but even if we shot up her age by five years, she will still be 18 and be more or less the same. So FDS point still stands. I think things will change with Dany in the Winds of Winter after what happened in Dance. Of course things could go your way. I just believe there will not be a happy ending but Dany will survive through or very near the end of all this.

Yeah, I know it was PC. A glance can tell me as such. I'm just don't have high hopes that there will be some sort of problem but then again, maybe Ubisoft finally learned.

Looks very interesting indeed. It has great atmosphere because the setting looks amazing. Sad thing is... its Ubisoft. Knowing their track record I don't have high hopes for a good PC release. If I can pass on Assassin Creed, I can pass on this. I really don't want to since again, it looks amazing.
