Oh yeah, early adopters got hosed and it really shows how the devs were swinging at the dark and going from there. I mean, I guess it is more or less complete now? I also have the benefit of watching the movie a while back. TBH, I'll play it but I have very low expectations.

Momodora: Reverie Under The Moonlight It's pretty short but it's a great metroidvania. Not sure why I stop last time I played by a sitting or two got it done.

Yeah, I've been hearing about the poor port for a few days already. I really need some details like is it running poorly period or is it running poorly for the hardware? I do recall that Durante was brought on as a consultant (it's on one of the NISA blogs I think) but if the main porting team don't listen to him or don't know how to implement his suggestions then it's all moot. I guess I'll wait for a large discount... This year already have enough games lined up that I can safely ignore Ys VIII which is a shame because I've heard it is a fantastic game. Something something voting with your wallet.

My house and really my room is a fucking dust heaven. I cannot clean the screen and keep it clean long enough for there to be no dust. At least there's no bubbles and it's hard see the dust when the Switch is on. I guess the only thing that irks me now is that it is on crooked... A slight tilt upward and left on the right. I'm not OCD so it will have to do. You see why I didn't deal with this madness for so long!? If I feel like fixing it I'll do what Ethan said on Discord: do it in the bathroom after running the shower for a bit. It should get rid of all the dust.

Devilman Crybaby is weird. Quite ham fisted in what it wanted to say but I liked it enough. I felt that it didn't have enough budget and episode to fully tell the story since some stuff seems to come out from nowhere. I might give the manga a go sometime to get the whole story. A massive omnibus is going to be released sometime this year so I might get that. Edit: Looking into it, this anime adaptation really compresses the manga down. All the major plot points are there. It's just arguable if it works. At least I felt a bit hurt towards the end so it had to done something right. And if you like the director and his style, you can check out Kaiba. It's cute and all but my god...

Face it, the textures in the base game are pretty bad. So this should help out this rough edge (of a few) of this otherwise great game.

That NIS/Nisa thing is just too big to ignore... All the fan communities are going to be a dumpster fire once and if it is confirmed. It won't be pretty. I might have some really choice words with NIS/NISA and Falcom if they get it. I would be fine with NISA ports/localizations if they were fine but Ys 8 is really all you need to see that is unlikely. If they can't manage Ys 8 then how the fuck are they going to manage CS3 and CS4? They lied through their teeth with Ys 8 up till launch day. If they cared so much then why the initial port and localization quality? Oh, should I be happy that they decided to hold off on the PC release and redo the localization? After the blatant lies? Piss off. God this whole thing piss me off. And look, no mention of XSEED until now. I'm laser focused on what NISA has done. ... Can Falcom at least let XSEED localize it? NISA can do the rest. I'm sure Durante will be happy to lend a hand. Just give us a quality product. It is all I ask for.

In other news, Zwei I is releasing on the 24th. That's a day one. Ys VIII remains to be seen since it depends so strongly on the port and relocalization. And I swear the core Falcom fan base is going to be killed off by June.

Gotta get that Chinese market! It be considered an insult if this was a spin-off. In some ways this game can be seen as eating Romance of the Three Kingdoms' lunch. A spin-off cannot do. Though I guess it is fair that people are a bit ruffled by not having say Chaos Undivided or something like that for Warhammer. And it is odd how CA is just shooting out games.

You can do them attached. That's how I did it... and honestly the preference that Nintendo put on playing detached probably brought the game down in my eyes. I rarely used the spin and homing throw.

x3 My old mic was dead and so I bought a Blue Snowball to find that it is pretty damn massive so I got a cheap swing arm for it. I would like to think anybody who plays with me can hear me now. And I guess I can VA (I can't). I also got 3 storage compartments for the unused drive bays. I got too many small things hanging around that might have a home inside my computer (e.g., wires and cables).

I must be a madman for running around with a bare screen Switch. Next order from Amazon I'll get one.
