  1. I'll join in on the Deadpool action. Pretty good. It's neat. I think in the long run it won't hold up in the grand scheme of things, but I think it just might help either help or hinder the other super hero films (which was weird to not see Civil War trailer before this. Got BvS and Apocalypse though. I guess there's the "Sky Q" advert sorta had Age of Ultron in it) Certainly funniest, but I don't think any of the other comic book films have really tried it. It was certainly pretty rich with references in it. They even made a Blade one (folks remember Reynolds as Deadpool and Green Lantern but rarely his role in Blade...which is a Marvel comic ). Also pretty sure there's an unofficial crossover And for your viewing pleasure:
  2. http://store.steampowered.com/sub/94153/ Bunch of free older Sega titles including Jet Set Radio and Golden Axe (Golden Lynx in European markets)
  3. https://bethesda.net/#en/events/game/fallout-4-add-ons-automatron-wasteland-workshop-far-harbor-and-more/2016/02/16/77 First set of DLC announced, and also a rather hefty jump in price point for the Season Pass bringing it from £25 to £40. Kinda hoping for more story orientated stuff tbh, the robo companion seems neat and ties in a bit with FO3 and New Vegas a bit, the Workshop I guess is more for console folk since spawning enemies to fight against each other is fairly doable on PC.
  4. Oh didn't do any MP. One of thing I forgot to add is the radio is kinda shitty. Especially at the end when it doesn't acknowledge the actions you've taken (including Pagan Min being in power)
  5. Oh yeah, I got shot first(pictured above), but I died like a couple turns in. I think I got in maybe three turns tops, and most of that was me feebly flicking the bullet until my last turn where I got in a corker of a shot, that had us scrambling on the floor to find the bullet.
  6. 5 v 5 (or maybe 6 v 6, whatever the max is). Wasn't aware of any rules for the clock colour stuff, but figured in set up the clock was for counting turns since it's semi-functional.
  7. Only a couple new games this week, started the session playing Saboteur but had new folks join in as was setting up and only stopped once we'd squeezed like a can of sardines around a round table. Most folks were totally new to Saboteur as well so kinda dragged out for that. So the games I did get to play was: Flick Em Up I died early on (that's me in between the cacti, cos I flicked my piece a bit too hard near the start, all my other outlaws stayed back. Also it's harder than it'd sound to flick without using a thumb (especially in attempting to not hit cacti) Also since I know Hot Heart has picked this up I'll let him do the fuller review of sorts. Trickerion was up next. This one is relatively new and a friend had it so I reserved a spot to give it a spin and see if I'd want to add it to the collection. Probably not gonna happen. It was an alright game but extremely fiddly. The general premise is you're all magicians trying to earn fame and fortune. I was the Illusionist; The Gentleman. You build up spells, buy materials to prepare your tricks, then go to theatre to perform, earning you fame and fortune which you use to buy better spells, better materials and you get the idea. It's worker placement stuff, you move your dudes around Downtown (for new spells, money from the bank and hiring help...oh yeah you get managers, apprentices, stage hands, etc), to the market for parts, the Dark Alley for...err stuff and the Theatre where you show your spells off. It was all rather quite complex tbh, there was some bits and bobs I wasn't clear on and barely scrapped a second to last, with the first two place positions being well ahead (and both of them having played before).
  8. Beat Far Cry 4. Rather sudden wrap up at the end, though I imagine that's mainly cos the final two choices I was given it barely had time for the animation to unholster the gun and I'd fired it Fun game, much same as Far Cry 3, with a few neat tweaks here n there. Some slightly sucky elements such as the rather superficial rebuilding of the old family home, but eh. I imagine Far Cry Primal is unlikely to stray form the beaten path too much apart from largely the whole lack of cars n guns. Kinda looking at that Horizons a bit for that kind of feel though. We'll see.
  9. Ooh thanks. Too many of you don't have recognisable names.
  10. Yeah that shader looked pretty sweet. And yeah, I err wouldn't even really know which were the "Sunsinger Ram" players so...err..yeah, the meta likely got us I imagine that's the one where we ended 5:4 rather than the usual 5:0? I'd say the maps didn't fully help, more built for 6v6 than 2v2, ends up a bit thin and too many open areas. Incidentally still got all the bounties open would be up for beating them if anyone wanted a pop on 8-11pm GMT time tomorrow?
  11. So can confirm they don't kick you if you do in fact suck at the game. Also a good idea to take a sniper rifle. I wasn't actually equipped with one which kinda sucked a bit. :/ edit: Also you don't get a ghost. I got a crest, which err kinda sucked a bit :/ edit 2: Ah I looked it up further, you get the 320 Ghost at the end of the event, not as a reward for completing the matches.
  12. the 2PM time or the 8PM time? I guess it's either-or really.
  13. 8PM GMT - 11PM GMT is pretty fine by me, might end up doing stuff with Hot Heart maybe but hey, can do more than one. I'm likely today to be either in Far Cry 4 on PC or Destiny on PS4 so if you've me on both check Friends list or whatever. (Steam is usually best method to hit me up though regardless, I fluster with the PS messaging system n last time I played with Hot Heart I mainly used the mobile chat app)
  14. Isn't Justice Scalia one of the bosses from FFXII?
  15. Yeah I think the above is part of where MRA and similar groups come from. They're being told, by folks like your above examples, that by default they've had a good life but for many of them it's not true. It creates a push back and disillusionment that gets funnelled out as hate and abuse. Too many folks simplify it though, cos really it should be "broadly speaking this generalised group is worse off than this other group" rather than just "whites have more privilege than blacks". The self loathing you see now n then is also pretty shitty too, and the whole "check your privilege" though most of that seems to be kept to Tumblr folk (no idea how that's all shaken out tbh, you guys see the kind of things I get on Tumblr )
  16. Not had a chance top play (or even unpack) it yet though. One of the games Hot Heart has recommended in the past.
  17. Some time after 2pm GMT? I've a pretty lazy day tomorrow, should have all my shit out the way by then.
  18. I'm free tomorrow if you'd want to give a spin? I'm not sure what my Ghost is at. *checks* 310 In fact I'm currently wearing all my highest Light gear: https://www.bungie.net/en/Legend/Gear/2/4611686018455582467/2305843009358174590 I really need some better chest and leg pieces.
  19. Housemate also picked this up, in quite a nice wooden box. I imagine I may get a spin with it today maybe.
  20. Isn't that part of the "Great Cycle"? Like you get hype, then watch and really enjoy and be like "this is the best thing since sliced bread" then a month or so passes and it's like "it's not as good as it could have been" then more time passes and folks are like "Actually it was pretty good, I can acknowledge the flaws and positives in it". Watch for it with Deadpool, come this time next month they'll be folks picking it apart.
  21. https://www.bungie.net/7_This-Week-At-Bungie--02112016/en/News/News?aid=44353 I guess someone wanted to preempt Thursday Destiny 2 due in 2017, and a large expansion due during this year.
  22. Yeah, seems less tacky. You get the knowing nod from other Fallout players, without something that looks like geek tat.
  23. Yeah, I imagine it'll be like the experience days where you go n drive a Ferrari around a track or whatever (I assume you have them in America). "Come drive a manual car! Shift gears, turn the wheel, push the pedals with your feet. Experience the thrillride of yesteryear with a drive in a Fiat Punto!"
  24. Quite brutal. This actually is the better of the trailers. Liking Jeremy Irons. And also holy shit it finally covers why Batman is going after Superman, and makes it look like it's a less than one sided fight. They finally learnt to make trailers it seems.
