Series 7 was a bit weird in that it was split in half to the point of almost being two series'. And since as part of this you'll likely have skipped the most ongoing arc here's the main "prophecy" driving it: On the Fields of Trenzalore, at the fall of the Eleventh, when no living creature can speak falsely or fail to answer, a question will be asked, a question that must never ever be answered; "Doctor who?" Which has sort of been covered a bit already at the end of this series, and coming up in the Christmas Special.
