Well many folks have computers and monitors that go well in excess of 1080p, so it seems pretty rational to me to take issue when an artificial limit has been applied. No doubt it'll be worked around once the game comes out, but it's not really the players jobs to have to constantly fix a developers work.

Yeah Facebook is built for videos of the kids at the nativity play filmed on your phone, quality isn't really one of the biggest aspects. Just the ability to copy paste the file onto a USB stick would be ideal then that way you can do with it what you want, it's your video.

When we shifted office boss was suggesting I use the spare diddy mac keyboard. Way too small, and when you're whacking in numbers the numpad is great. (which for the X4 is extra nice as the calculator shortcut is right above). Also I run a tight ship, so not like I need to be cramped up to save desk space. Also...you own a Razer product. HAHAHA.

So I should have come to this thread some time ago. Finished up Marvel Civil War (I think, there's probably some threads I'm pretty sure are missing at the end but there is a conclusion of sorts.) It was okay I guess, and the fact that I should probably read the bits in-between House of M and this is maybe not entirely helping on some bits. The biggest issue with it is that it's not really even hiding the fact it's over a hundred comics dedicated to having a go at the Patriot Act and post-9/11 America. Just they have "The Sanford incident" and Superhuman Registration Act instead. Also read Wanted, since I'm quite a fan of the film. They don't really have much at all in common beyond a handful of names and a specific scene. The comic book is actually quite a neat little 6 part comic book basically about "if supervillains actually won". They're both very neat on their own and it's a quick enough read that I'd suggest it.

So it's a rather enjoyable film once you stop cursing Peter Jackson under your breath about half an hour in. So hard to tell it's Cumberbatch too, it was hard in the trailer but in the film they likely could have gotten anyone it's so heavily tweaked. I've a feeling, given it seems even less Cumberbatch than the trailer that post-Into Darkness it got some more tweaking so it didn't sound like Khan the Magnificent. I rather like the Elf King and look forward to what's (meant to be) coming in the next film with him.

Isn't it also on the newer engine. Oh also it's standalone, which the free mod requires the purchase of ARMA II and Combined Operations, which aren't free (and except on sale, about the same price as Day-Z)

Wait are you wanting to share the image, or save it? (though in Chrome it'd be the same directions but the option above for "save image as...") Either way, sounds like a FF issue, in which case (especially for efficiency) I'd suggest using Chrome.

Played DOOM: The Boardgame last night. It's actually quite fun, though some of the rules are a tad unclear when it comes to weapons fire (and as we found out at the end also on what to do if there's not a full compliment of players). It basically plays out like a rather refined RPG than board game. You get cards, though the GM gets much more cards than you, and you roll dice and stuff and travel around x amount of spaces. Can be played as a campaign too (there's a pre-written one in the box which is what we played through level 1 of). Pretty much my only annoyance with is was my co-player who opted to open a door on his turn, he being the last player, and half of hell came through. He paid for it in the end, I died and with it the energy cell for the BFG he was impatient to get.

Oblivion It was actually kind of alright. I think it had a bit of a huge wobbly moment in the middle mind where after God tells him to go looking elsewhere he has a stop at his log cabin instead which could easily have been trimmed out to keep the pacing going a bit better. I quite like that the big bad isn't entirely explained either. Though obviously it never touches upon . It wasn't entirely unsubtle that nothing was as it seems from the get go what with "mind wiped pre-mission" and that you never see the scabs up close and such (though the trailer also gave away that element). Overall an enjoyable film, the Drones were rather well done too, quite scary in their efficiency. Also the film wasn't as short as I was expecting
