yeah nepotism was how I got my place at the icecream factory but that's out of the question now. It does honestly seem that knowing someone is the way to get in. The entire job system seems broken. There's no centralized system. There's the job centre site but they have next to no jobs listed. If it was required all job listings were to go on the Job centre site you'd probably see unemployment drop a fair bit since people would actually know about the jobs available. edit: Yeah that's another issue. You need a job to be able to afford to get lessons and a car, but you can't get the job without having a car. Very catch-22.

Seriously. Thought I'd come here n ask. I must be missing something, I've always felt the education system sucks at "big world stuff" like jobs, loans, mortgages, taxes, insurance, bills etc. They're things you can't grade on. But yeah the standard "browse online and hand CV's out in town" doesn't seem to be getting me anywhere. I'm mostly holding out for September since many have told me that's when the jobs come. How long usually does it take to get a job? What are some off the beaten track ways to get one?

When it opened up my first thought was "Assasincs creed the movie". And it looks like it could potentially fit. My only issue would be Orlando Bloom. He has a habit of sucking outside of anything alongside John Rhys-Davies to play off.

My sister was in town so we and one of her friends went to go watch Captain America. My sister sucks are reading film listings so we watched Planet of the Apes instead. Was pretty good. I didn't mind for the spoiler posted the other day but I could tell what was coming up when that moment happened. Didn't really destroy the mood or anything. It was pretty good, the trailers gave me low hopes, but your lots reviews raised my expectations and it delivered. Also I must have missed you guys mentioning Rodney McKay was in it. So yeah I'll join in on folks saying you should go watch it.

Playing Final Fantasy XIII again. Well, I didn't finish last time (cos of uni). I'm in Palumpolum, Hopes home. So about half an hour or so away from his dad.

I'm vaguely interested in it. Used to play CS:S Quite a bit back in the day (Uni had a server, 5ms ping, but stopped it several years ago) I wonder what they're aiming for with GO. Counter-Strike has a big name, but I'm unsure how well it'll go down on consoles. Is it going to be F2P? Purely multi-player? Still on Source? Counter Strike players get pretty set in their ways, it's why CS1.6 is still one of the most active games on Steam so I can see why Valve would want to make a new game instead of just updating CS:S.

PSN prices for PS3 games is also pretty laughable. Usually coming out months from release in the £45 and up range.

My grievance with the memory performance would be that while Chrome n FF are about on par for memory, Chrome actually uses it while Firefox just hoards it up. To Chrome RAM is whey powder used to make it lean n strong, to firefox RAM is cake to fill it's face with and become slow and fat.

What about the multi-use port?

Valkyria Chronicles. Used that voucher I won. I heard it's meant to be one of the top games on PS3.

It does say "dedicated" which means it has 640MB. Shared is when it takes a cut from system RAM. PS3 has dedicated 256MB VRAM, 360 has 512MB shared (so it scales up n down a bit)
