  1. I've always being fascinated with children's drawings because it's such a raw interpretation of how they see and understand the world. As you get older you get hammered in with more technical skill and proficiency, you do things 'correctly'. You start drawing more like my 8yr old sister with stick figures with half circle smiles, houses made of a square with a triangle on top. The drawings become boring and conformed. Also I love that young kids you hand them an A4 pad and they fill up the A4 sheet, you give them A3, they will fill the A3 sheet. Even if they're drawing the same thing. They don't draw to scale, they draw to fill. edit @Smooves: It may be a drawing of Niomi, she pulls this scrunched up Angry face expression and is the only one I know with long hair. I'm currently many miles away so it's definitely not me. Also lol at making me have to move your thread around.
  2. Drawn by my smallest sister, and photo'd by my bigger sister (Who'll get a photo lesson when I go back. Paper isn't meant to be orange.)
  3. This is a semi recent Minecraft webcomic that popped up. I've being reading it the past few months. At first I thought it'd make some jokes of the weird nuances of the game, and since it gets posted once a day I pointed out it could burn up pretty fast. But I was told there's many plans for this and a pretty decently long plot n ideas for it. And in the past couple weeks I've started to see it creeping out with the introduction of Allan Badassery. http://nerdcubed.co.uk/
  4. Ah yeah I'd forgotten you guys have the TV companies, Phone companies and Internet companies all the same people. I guess that would be a bitch. Especially when you throw in things like Hulu, Skype, youtube, Google Voice etc. Also on the surface it doesn't seem so bad that it's "only" wireless traffic, except that's going to become more n more prevalent. Especially as we shift to 4G and beyond. Already have netbooks with bundled mobile internet contracts, devices like iPads and tablets that are close enough to regular PC's that folks will expect regular 'PC-like' internet. Mobile internet is only going to become faster and more prevalent over time until it is on par with the wired stuff in use and devices that are enabled with it. And by then you'd now have regulations in place that are based on 3G still being a sub-par internet type used primarily in small shitty phones.
  5. I did send out an email to like 600 people yesterday. That may of had something to do with it.
  6. I've not posted before. No one told me there was a stupid 2 post limit So yeah I've upped it.
  7. But that'd more be more of a comparison to the Dial-Up package, the 1mb/s package or the 100mb/s package etc. First class still isn't dependant on the actual contents of what you're posting. Running the internet on a content-by-content/service-by-service basis is going to create a fractured, unfairly tiered service. Unless you have the funds then you'll be automatically put to the bottom of the pile. Google with their billions will be able to push Youtube to the forefront of any other video service. The current internet means that if you have an innovative service, and it's something that people want to use, then you can rise to the top. *points to Twitter* A tiered service would mean that if you have more cash than anyone else, you can essentially buy your way to the top. Why you UPipe video site when Youtube loads much faster?
  8. Pretty much anything made for Honda or Guinness followed directly by a short spin-off that came out not much later (Used about 3 whole cars to make it. iirc) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGy275U2rCk&feature=related We'll go with the new version.
  9. Yep. They weren't going to call it 'Chicken in a Spicy Sauce' were they? It was in an Indian restaurant after all. Oh and while it's not in ACTA, the regional naming this is still EU law. So we have a fair bit of 'Cornish-Style Ice Cream' round these parts.
  10. Only in the prude countries. Our Dryads had less hair too. As for the trading cards, doesn't have too much to do with some good dialogue.
  11. Even I could of told you US has no regional naming restrictions on food and drink production.(at least on a federal level) It was the US that put the kibosh on EUs plans to include the regional naming restrictions in ACTA. (i.e You could only call it Feta cheese if it's made in Feta, Champagne from Champagne, Tika Masala from Scotland. and Bourbon from Bourbon Kentucky)
  12. It's £3.75/$3.75(I assume) so yeah totally worth getting the first one if you've yet to play it but are interested in what folks rave about.

Well at least you brought it up cos I was about to say it seems you're wanting to play Mass Effect. (Which the backstory for those matter squat except for like 2 missions) Which is all well and good, but if you had a backstory it would probably end up dictating your allegiances in some way. All it needs to do is give you a reason to head out into the wastes. In 3 it's to find your father, in New Vegas it's to find your attempted killer. And in both along the way your original quest mutates into you kinda being the saviour of the wasteland. Your search for your dad getting you embroiled in Project Purity, in New Vegas it's with Mr House, NCR n Caesars legion.
  14. Well one's for Wallpapers and links to places with good wallpapers n such. And this is for desktops. Lucas's wallpaper would kinda go over our heads if he just posted the image alone. Same with Rainmeter desktops, or Talis re-iconned one.
  15. Well you can jsut watch the 2005 Doctor Who. It's only at 5 series by now. And that's British series, so only like 13 episodes a pop.
  16. It's what you put into it. It's more a Toybox, similar to Sims, Simcity, Spore, than game. There isn't any goal or objective. Just to survive and build and change the landscape around you. It kinda breaks down very simply the past few hundred thousand years of human history. Build wooden pick...time passes...build subway system.
  17. It is a sort of retcon but one that works. Basically in the movie Joss Whedon wanted Simon rescuing River. The retcon is that in Serenity (The pilot episode) Simon, who at this point is still pretty distrustful of the crew, was lying to Mal. Which is something that he is pretty adept at.
  18. Yeah I'd upload it to somewhere else. They won't host your image for you Use Dropbox
  19. Also is it me, or is that Duckface?
  20. Oh man Overworld was and still is today one of my top VG openings. I'm married to FFIX n all but FFX doe3s have the much better opener.

There's load's to do. It's just the start is empty. Particularly the trek from Goodsprings to Novac (With Nipton and Primm in between being about it) Once you're in Novac you're sorted for things been a close hop to go adventuring. I think it was somewhat set as a tutorial/linear style thing. Make sure you did certain things before it dumped you in the world proper and forced you along a certain path.

    Help!

Nah we'll shift threads around as n when. Though if folks make a habit of it or seem to be incorrectly placing threads on purpose, then yeah that'd get a warning.

The invisible barriers were a bit annoying. And the empty space just means space for Mods!
