https://twitter.com/BBCNewsnight/status/794474117156237312 HAH! It's kinda funny as well considering I believe BBC wouldn't even play God Save The Queen back in the day.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-37857785 High Court rules that government must have parliamentary approval to trigger Article 50. Government has appealed so it's going to Supreme Court. May really wants to get rid of EHRC doesn't she.

They're a film creation. They're a bit of a weird chekovs gun since the one time they're sorta relevant in having them over not having them...it doesn't really matter.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-11-02-finishing-final-fantasy Decent write up of the progress of FFXV under Tabatas stewardship.

They're designed to get you to Citadel. If they let you leave the galaxy it'd be a fair bit against the Reapers plans.

Steam have messaged devs to use the screenshots for actual screenshots and not bullshots/pre-rednered cinemative/concept artwork etc. I can't for the life of me think what game and actions against said game might have prompted them for this rules clarification, I don't think no man would be able to think of what game it was that prompted this. Also the above update for DS4 rolled out the other day. I've yet to dabble with it though. I guess most games I'd play with a controller already have controller support.

Wonder if you could have a H2G2 situation where you're sent off on a 600 year journey, but 200 years after launch they've developed ships that go even faster and your sleeper ship lands to a 200 year old colony already built up I mean, it won't happen but always a fun quirk of FTL travel. Canon wise I imagine they'll send a bunch of folks out the galaxy as a plan b if they can't stop the Reapers. Of course it means they'd have to maybe travel past the Reapers given we know they live in the void between galaxies, but I guess that's monumentally massive so it'd be like shooting the wings off a fly, that's flying in the Red Spot of Jupiter n you're on Earth.

"Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat, but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires". Butyeah I'm with Thursdays thing in I wouldn't even know where to begin and it's really quite difficult when it's, at least over here but I imagine similar in the US, an audience that rejects "experts" so being like "but this clearly states". You're a bit up shit creek trying to go against that mentality.

And she's not that bothersome really I'm currently playing Fallout 4 still. I'm a wee bit through the Mechanist quest line, I've also got the Nuka Cola depot on my map but I've been n been destroyed so I figured it's not my time to go yet. Also have the Nick Valentine quest too but yet to start. Oh I also have Vault 88, it's massive! I also knocked through a wall to a Deathclaw waiting so there's a weird bit of concrete walling built up in part of the cave . My only beef is there's a fusion reactor knocking out 150 power, which is huge amount, but a totally pain the but to route that through to the actual vault building area. Also the whole hallway/door requirement thing. Part of me is like "sure it's a vault in here n all, but I might just built a wee village of houses instead". Especially as it's all fairly flat floor. I'm not too far into my vault building, I've a greenhouse, a dorm n the overseers room built so I could like make it partway vault, for the vault experiments n such, and the rest just shacks n shit. I'm running a poll to decide who I join: https://twitter.com/deanbmmv/status/793493146487427073 Phone wise I've been playing Solitaire on a rather well done practically free app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devsisters.SolitaireDeckedOut&hl=en You can buy shit, but you get coins for playing which open lootboxes and it's only for like deck themes and ending animations. Also playing match-3 type called "Legendary", it's fairly usual fair of earning gems, accruing energy over time etc. Though my main enjoyment of it is stumbling across a guild called "Northern Powerhouse" which is all rather fun. The art is quite nice too.

Cracked had an article that pretty much hit the nail on the head too about the divide in America. Feels similar over here, for example despite the fact that a lot of employment in Sunderland is based around the Nissan plant, and there's a lot of EU money pumped into the North East, Sunderland still voted "Leave". It echos back to the great depression and the rise of fascism around the world in the early C20th. It's just crazy how from over here it seems so absolutely clear that Trump is a terrible candidate for president, yet folks will argue for him, or say how Clinton is "equally bad". She doesn't fluster around responses, she's got decades of experience in navigating the political field. I mean, do Americans really want Trump to be representing them on the international stage. We have Farage as one of our representatives within EU and he's godawful, an absolute joke that does us no favours at all. Doesn't help that Trump is angling for such an isolationist policy (which we all know worked wonders for the US and world stage in the past) which'll put US on a backfoot in any discussions on world stage. But oh no she has emails! Yeah and your other choice has a court date in Dec for child rape, which given his own remarks on his daughter, women in general and own admittance of letting himself into Miss America changing rooms doesn't seem all that unlikely. I guess a problem is, and it would be the same if Leave had lost, is that even if he loses his supporters still make up a decent chunk of the population and that's something you've got to look at.

Oooh this looks pretty, but it's £150 :/

I have Allo. Currently I get jokes from it, don't know much else to use it with. Recently started with Whatsapp from connecting with folks on the geek club I attend. Mainly use FB Messenger still, has the bonus of working on desktop n mobile (Whatsapp does too but it's fiddly n still uses your phone).

the feedback responses from the Duscae demo http://gematsu.com/2015/04/final-fantasy-xv-feedback-live-stream-full-report-episode-duscae-2-0-coming-mid-may Controls seemed to be a universally disliked thing, which explains the massive changes to them since. It's actually really cool to see how the feedback was taken on board and used to improve the game. A true "beta" as it were. Seems Prompto wasn't overly liked either

Eh, Skyrim was much better in that regard, but yeah they don't do much with the direction. It's steadily improving but at 5 years old Skyrims stoic stoney VA pales in comparison to more modern releases. I wonder if Skyrim is what Dinkelage played before doing Destiny But yeah, it's a five year old game that all they've done on PC front is do "image size = 200%" batch run in Photoshop, recompressed the audio n stuck on a 64-bit exe, on the console front just "export to PS4/Xone". But if memory serves the same was done for Dishonored remaster too. They haven't even fixed any of the UI for PC as was a major complaint at launch (n why I'll be waiting on SKSE support, so I can stick on SkyUI). btw if you're diving back into it, and this may be late, check out the "Another life" mod, or "Alternative life" mod whatever, it sticks you in a jail cell, you pray to Mara and then pick where you'd like your new life to start. Skips out the intro sequence. oh wait they've that mod thing now (okay there's one change, not sure "improvement" though given you'll still want NMM for installing SKSE down the line) https://mods.bethesda.net/#en/workshop/skyrim/mod-detail/2918710 I opted to start as a lord in Riften, so you start off with err...Breezehome I think is your Riften house. You can start in the middle of nowhere as a hunter n such too. Only minor issue is you start with limited gear since there's no dead imperials to loot for armour n such. But on the plus side there's a whole house to loot of valuables, n mounted shields n swords so not totally fucked. I also grabbed the Disable Cinematic Kills mod to just shave some time off playthrough (I wish I could find similar for Fallout 4) https://mods.bethesda.net/#en/workshop/skyrim/mod-detail/2962870 and Less Agressive Animals https://mods.bethesda.net/#en/workshop/skyrim/mod-detail/2968799 Which makes a cool change I hadn't realised until now wasn't part of the HD upgrade in changing butterfly to "catch and kill" so you know what you're doing.

I've been binging Graham Norton stuff and figured this'd be relevant on the whole VA thing.

If they didn't have "Police" on their chest I'd never have guessed.

So general gist seems to be the remaster is pretty shitty. At least on the PC where it can be empirically proven too. Audio is further compressed, textures aren't reworked just upscaled, and it holds all of the old bugs and none of the improvements to minor elements that FO4 brought in like quick-looting. So it's basically the 5 year old skyrim with the only improvement being a 64-bit launcher which helps with bigger mods. And they're charging £30 for it (I thankfully got it for free, as I imagine many people did). Only remaster I've actively bought is the FFX/FFX-2 and that at least had a remastered score, better models and textures, upped the resolution of FMVs, and for non-EU folks added in some extra content in the form of Dark Aeons and the Advanced Sphere Grid. And bundled in two games for the price too. Considering Skyrim has such a strong legacy this adds a bit of a dark mark too it, it's clearly just a quick and dirty cash grab to keep their coffers ticking over until their next TES.

they the ones that were wanting to do cattle ranching or whatever, and armed themselves up n had a bit of a siege going on? Wasn't that years ago?
-
Also the Doctor was a caretaker there too, as he makes a point of in the first episode. Oh it used to be Coal Hill School back in the day, but yeah now it's an Academy which is a bit (also Doctor makes note on, mainly in a "I guess they didn't fix up the tears in time n space when they renovated").

just watched the first episode of Class. Was a lot better than I was expecting, and it's a lot darker than I expected too, which I guess I had my guard down cos I thought "hey it's set at a school", but it's on BBC3 not CBBC so yeah there's a couple students killed in this n one maimed. It's sorta buffy-esque (they reference Buffy in the show, and also once upon a time and vampire diaries. Also Downton Abbey but not in relation to their situation). Quite decent flow and pace to it, like it was very well put together in a notable way. The teacher is pretty great. Also got to see the new sonic screwdriver in action too. So yeah I'd say give it a shot.

It would probably cost more to get a screen that doesn't support touchscreen though. Given that their portable MP games only use half the controller I'd guess there's going to be a lot of give on what is and isn't fully supported. Wii n Wii U are no different given the gamut of controllers available to the systems.
