Was listening to Empire podcast n they were talking about this, sounded good so checked the trailer n seems kinda fun Also there's this film about a crowd funded film that the creators abscond with the money. But the film is funded by crowdfunding and the creators pretended they'd absconded with the money. I imagine you have to have funded the film to be invested(not in that sense) in this.

Yeah it's "kind of not" drinking water but as noted in the video these days the vast majority houses no longer have a hot water tank in the attic(loft) and use combi boilers n the such instead. You'd still sort of not drink the hot water, partly cos drinking hot water is weird n also cos of the left over "hot water isn't drinking water" thoughts.

Just to clarify: Brits don't drink "warm beer" in that it's say a temperature you'd be happy to bath a child in, just "warm" in a sense that it's not actively chilled like american beers. Casks are stored underground in a cellar, which I'd wager is similar with most american bar set-ups. Cellars are usually quite cool compared to above ground due to the cooling nature of being under all the earth(soil). This property was used for ice houses n such for centuries before fridges and freezers became a thing. So most beer is actually quite cool, probably comparable to water fresh from a cold tap. Just not super chilled and dripping condensation all over the place. This is where I learn you call fridges refrigerators, freezers chill boxes and the nature of your water taps/faucets against ours means you don't necessarily have a "cold" or at least it's non-drinkable or something.

It's worth noting the "book" is in Human Revolution right at the start(obviously you don't learn the significance until later). But yes the other parts of the safe are quite interesting. The Deus Ex sub has been banging on about it for a few weeks, I'm in "wait and see" mode. I've no idea what Illuminati would have to gain from it, especially as it runs counter to their plans and would require some weird retconning of the original Deus Ex. But on the other hand with other things it does make some sense. As I said I'm just in "wait n see" mode. Could be a big thing for the game, though weird Jensen would never comment on it like he did with the other big thing in HR, but could also be a silly easter egg like the companion cube n knuckles & knuckles.

Some playthrough of FFXII: Zodiac Age at Bhujurbe. I think this is the current set-piece for the demos at the moment, makes sense I guess. Very little spoiler, get a bunch of town and a dungeon and a couple scenes all in a close area. The game graphics I'd say are only slightly improved if any over the scaling of PCSX2 but as mentioned above that's not a surprise given the original quality of the textures that came with the game. The text though is beautifully crisp as are all the HUD elements and nice to see the QOL additions suck as Benny Hill mode which in combination with the in-built gambit system will be nice. Shame they were locked out of the menus on this but I guess it's still half a year off so a strict demo atm makes some sense. World of Final Fantasy I'm aware of being upcoming but I've a feeling it's gonna drop under the radar. Seeing the video piqued my interest slightly but tbh seems like it might be better suited to something like Vita if that wasn't pretty much dead. My dad actually thought I was watching someone play Pokemon (he might have greater rose tinted glasses than I. ) The stack stuff seemed kinda neat, and I guess as they're saying it's pretty much "Final Fantasy: Pokemon" in many core elements. No idea if it has a decent story though I feel with the looks and such it's not aiming for anything overly complex.

From the Playstation Access live stream at EGX. I actually quite liked this playthrough since it was quite like how I'd play it for the most part, though she sel-fadmitedly isn't great at the combat. Mainly in customising which I'd been aware of the clothes thing (though a slight bummer that clothes affect stats) but it was only in recently seeing a white Regalia I'd had a hint you could customise that and even more surprised it goes beyond black or white. Also cool with the in-car radio, which once again a thing hinted at but she's first to go into it. I guess it's cos she's had a fair bit of time with the game and isn't one of the developers giving a sort of set-piece go through to show off specific elements (I've noticed the PAX n TGS playthroughs...or Gamescom, two of the three, were going to the same goblin infested dungeon which I guess is maybe for its lack of story there but still). Shame it crashes at the end, but I guess that's why it's out end of Nov. edit: and cos the above crashed they did some more the next day:

Yeah it's and English v English thing. They don't butter their sandwiches, and I believe primarily use mayo in the way we'd use butter. (which makes you wonder how they make their income if it's not their bread and butter).
