  1. AM2R n Poke Uranium have been removed from the "fan creation" category of the game awards. Nintendo is a sponsor of the game awards. Hmmm.
  2. hey guys I'm excited for FFXV. Can you tell?! :P

You should know better than be excited for anything, especially games.

I'm excited too. As soon as Paper Mario is done it's on to FFXV. Can't wait! :D

I'd say FFXV gets a pass given how open about dev the team has been, they've put out a ton of streams, and three old-fashioned demos too.

  3. A bit of the piggyback guide for free: http://piggyback.com/downloadfile.php?id_download=1859&type=guide&mode=download
  4. As long as it weights less than 90kg then a series of trebuchets should do the trick.
  5. Yeah, bit annoying. I'd have loved Ardyn/Reinheardt guys to do it but I guess it'd be in character n maybe spoil things in that aspect.

I'm amazed some people confuse the testicles with the penis considering there's a vas deferens between them. Welcome to my shower thoughts. I had to google when I got out the shower to check I was anatomically correct.
  7. I guess sort of the launch trailer. Oh yeah it shows the cute NES animations you get when buying things.
  8. Not an app per se but worth sharing.
  9. ID4:2 I went in expecting a proper terrible movie but I'd say apart from the usual tropes of a last minute saving n "oh no the school bus full of children!" stuff it was pretty fine. Few shaky bits of acting (especially around deaths, though Data makes up for it) and you get kinda distracted by not-will smith and not-thor. Few minor plot issues such as the fact we have developed space faring fighter planes and tug boats but the cars still run off petrol 20 years down the line. But it's got flashy pew-pews n plenty alien fighters n shit. I kinda like the "white orb" plot line others have hated on, sets up for a sequel though falls into the trope of "humans are the best in space" trope. Lot of dead people n absolutely fucked countries though.

Stolen from FB: Trump is so pissed at theatre that he's gonna build a fourth wall.
  11. Ah yes, the 28th Amendment to change the name from "United States of America" to "Trump Country". Seriously, how is it not a requirement to put assets in a blind trust? Or is it just a case of in the past folks have done it anyway so there was no need to put it into law to require it. There was another article I saw up on Twitter that pointed out how due to the international nature of his business and investments into it then that'd surely impact his decisions to carry out say his trade restrictions on China where a bunch of his shit is made, or blocking off mexico, where a bunch of his shit is made, or propping up int'l banks that might be invested in his companies.
  12. I think RoTR is only available as the "20th Anniversary edition" on Steam due to how Steam manages games that don't have DLC through Steam (same way everyone got the GOTY edition of Arkham games cos they didn't do the DLC through Steam separately). It's why a chunk of EA games got kicked off years back (I think ME3 for example still isn't on Steam cos of it).
  13. I guess I've also picked up FFXIV, should tide me over for FFXV and hooray for Steam credit.
  14. Reading Sandman. I've heard good things and I'd say they're well deserved. It's weird that it's part of DC universe, it frequently feels quite standalone but every now n then you've got folks turning up. And sure it's mainly centred around Dream but includes a few of the other Endless too who are quite interesting. Check it out if you haven't.
  15. Jumping through a bunch of games atm. Loaded up Gat Out of Hell other day since it was on PS+. I quite liked SRIII n SRIV, but I guess it's maybe cos I've been away from the games for a while and I guess it assumed you're jumping into GOoH straight out of SRIV but since I haven't it feels pretty damn clunky. I guess I also played SRIV on PC too which means kb+m rather than a controller for a shooter. It has quite a few annoying habits too, such as I can save anywhere but I'll end up at Ultor everytime. So I'd flown over to rescue Vlad then called it a night n saved so I could but up next day n get right to it. Nope. Also the cut scenes for some reason take a fair while to kick in, like I was off doing a side quest and I ended up in a mainline cut scene musical and ...back at Ultor. Like I hadn't done anything to trigger the cut scene, I was just flying about, got a message through and then poof cut scene. There's a lot more effort put in the map than I would have initially assumed though.
  16. I'm running a stock cooler on current PC. Might grab a cooler master at some point since I liked my last one and this fan gets a bit noisy at time (disconcertingly so at boot up). I've actually got my old one on a dead PC at my dads, I could maybe recover it, not sure if it'll work on an i5 though given it was for a Core2-quad. I guess something to research. Anywho picked up Deus Ex GO in the sale on Play Store. Gotta fucking love Google Rewards.
  17. http://i.imgur.com/nb2Hbd7.gifv Basically this needs to happen in Infinity War at some point.
  18. Actually there's FTL communication in the form of quantum entanglement too. Though given there's likely nobody from Cerberus aiding the Andromeda mission I'm unsure that'll be something you get. Anywho it's just how the graph has been split for purpose of highlighting Andromeda, I'd say it's less "timelines" per se and more Milky Way vs Andromeda. No "alternate timelines" as such, just basically the 3 possible endings from ME3 have zilch impact on Andromeda...maybe (it kind of is shown spreading quite quickly through the milky way though, far faster than mass accelerators would account for...in fact it travels faster than mass accelerators otherwise it wouldn't have hit Normandy II).
  19. Yeah until I saw this I hadn't really processed how quickly humanity had gone from thinking they're alone to become a council member. Like a lot of the important stuff all happens within Andersons lifetime n he's not exactly super old.
  20. Fan made but should hit the mark.

So you may know that eggs are prepared differently in the states to the rest of the world. Most of the world vaccinate their chickens for salmonella, and the states wash the eggs instead. You know why they don't vaccinate chickens in the states? They don't want autistic chickens. (I feel this could be worded better, and probably works better in a spoken form with relevant punctuation n such. Also probably even better not being in the joke thread where you're expecting a punchline)
