Saturnine Tenshi

I tried Black Desert Online, and it's basically the same old Korean MMORPG garbage from 1998 with some neat spins. The character creator is powerful, too. Rather than actually leveling or exploring, I find myself just training horses and running them back and forth between cities. Oh, also replaying The Witcher 3. I wanted to replay with a heavy armor/strong attack build, and to correct how badly I screwed up the romances the first time around. This in advance of playing Blood and Wine.

TYVM, GOH. I also dropped by the Facebook page for an extra 5% off. Ended up getting two copies for $99 CAD. All things considered, that's a steal. Would've set me back $160 at retail.

I have a fairly large avocado tree that I keep indoors. The rest of the plants go in and out with the season. Two or three pomegranates there . . . actually, that's most of what I keep living through the winter. The rest are seasonal foods or herbs.

Has anyone come by any decent deals on Civ VI by chance? Isthereanydeal doesn't suggest there are any, but I know it ain't perfect.

Recently finished Sword of Destiny. I've come to find that I really enjoy anthologies when they're in the same setting (and clearly recognizable as such), or when they're centered around the same character. Rather than one drawn out tale, it's several smaller tales strung together that seem more related than an anthology that just covered a genre or theme.

Edit: Oh, and I think Witcher deserves #1.

I'm in the middle of Sword of Destiny. Trying to finish that and Tower of Swallows before getting around to Blood and Wine.

Besides Overwatch, I gave NMS a try to see if it works on my PC. The trouble became immediately apparent. But I do enjoy the concept. After about 3 worlds I can say that I enjoy the exploration the game offers.

Yeah, that's why I play tank/healer so often. But man, constantly getting ganked because no one is watching your back as support. Or pushing as tank only to find that your team didn't join you in the push.

Love it. Also I need to stop playing healer/tank. I just end up getting pissed off at the team who doesn't work with me.

Beyond was surprisingly good. I'm interested in how the new series will turn out. I think the main character is meant to be someone other than the captain?

So what's the verdict on the PC version? I'm seeing mainly negative feedback, which is disappointing. I wasn't planning on getting it at launch regardless, but this doesn't bode well.

Has anyone made the leap for Civ VI yet?
