  1. So many new people, and I don't know any of them. Try harder, Dex.
  2. More gameplay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xg8M0a9dmbU&feature=player_embedded Edit: Friggin' obnoxious narrators. I despise watching "preview" videos from sources like IGN, Gametrailers and G4. SHUT THE FUCK UP!
  3. YOU GET NOTHING! Even though I think you were my only follower/friend on Kotaku.
  4. CS:S night was fun. http://steamcommunity.com/id/SaturnineTenshi/screenshots?tab=public&showdate=1&filter=app_240
  5. Welcome to the forums. An initiation gift:
  6. Grabbed Malicious from the Japanese PSN for 800 yen... then used the remaining 200 yen to purchase a dynamic Hyperdimension Neptunia theme. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLulvGK4nAc&feature=player_embedded
  7. I saw one new map. Some indoor facility, and that's it. Could have been me not recognizing the new design. And how many of those PS3 owners are going to use mouse and keyboard? Few, most likely. I haven't read too much on the game. I heard there was something on G4, but I'm not watching that crap.
  8. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/08/26/cs-go-trailers-plant-the-bomb/ Cross platform play? *gives a hearty paunch chortle* Looks neat, though I can't say I enjoy radial menus.
  9. Didn't realize this had a thread. With the Green Man Gaming sale and the great looking gameplay videos, I went ahead and pre-ordered a copy. I needed a first-person shooter fix, anyway. And there isn't another such game forthcoming to fill that void.
  10. The limited NISA edition is now available for pre-order. $59.99 includes: • Atelier Totori Premium Box - Atelier Totori for PS3 - Full color, softcover artbook (+30 pages) - Atelier Totori OST
  11. Two copies of Red Orchestra 2 from Green Man Gaming. After the 20% voucher, $2.50 credit from an aborted ArmA II promotion, and the trade-in of Sniper:Ghost Warrior(whose progenitor was also abortion), each copy was $22.76 USD.

  13. They made Battlefront 3 it just got canned. Also, all Star Trek games stink. Must be some sort of curse by George Lucas. I think he allowed Elite Force to be good as an ironic joke since it's Voyage. There was this neat(at the time) strategy Star Trek game on the Genesis. Reminded me of Tactics Ogre.
  14. One of the few games I wanted to keep my Wii for. Of course, there's no mention of it being release in North American anyway. The cunts.
  15. Well, I think the name will be enough to drive the game. When you think multiplayer first-person shooter — if you know anything about PC games — Counter-Strike inevitably comes to mind. It may not be first for everyone, but it's there. My biggest qualm with CS:S wasn't that it was in any way worse than its predecessor(I only briefly dabbled in the world of scrims). No, it was that the mods were never as robust as 1.6 in its prime. Some of that could be attributed to the chasm between 1.6 purists and CS:S players.
  16. Well, I don't know how I missed this. Probably the not having internet when the news came. I'll be getting this over any other first-person shooter. As long as Valve maintains the freedom which the first two have had, and don't make it some wretched console port, I'll be pleased.
  17. Umineko no Naku Koro ni was... rancid. I'll be honest: I haven't played the visual novel. Still, I'm going to reference a poor transition from the game as the only explanation for an absolutely half-assed plot. What the hell is this, and why did so many people tell me to watch it? Is it only popular due to Victorian frock? Because I like Victorian frock. I don't like twenty-six episodes of it. I feel as if someone wanted to make a Phoenix Wright anime and utterly screwed it up. I'm a few weeks behind in Nichijou and Hanasaku Iroha, so I'm going to take some time today to download what I've missed. Plan on starting Sora no Otoshimono and something I can't remember. Edit: Oh, right. It was Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.
  18. Hot Heart is one of those folk who sign up to forums to (not quite)surreptitiously steer your opinions of upcoming video games. Eight hours is a good run — means you'll have no trouble beating it in less than a week. Assuming you can maintain the pace. But like the deceptive grunt said: many find the first chapter the worst. So you should play twelve hours the next day. Fourteen the next. Seventeen after that.
  19. About 30 hours depending on how much you do.
  20. Chantelise. From my Steam recommend: "This portmanteau is the very definition of action. Even something so mundane as splashing puddles is accompanied by a super-powerful explosion sound. If crafting dynamite from the offspring of rain — or perhaps a flood, a leaky bucket — doesn't suffice, lechers can still unite. From its humble beginning, there's an onslaught of ass. Satchel-festooned, carmine skirt-wreathed, Zettai Ryouiki fucking schoolgirl ass. That not your thing, you sick fucking slut-shallot? Well, there's also petite fairy girl rear, the portrait of sweet, neverending god damn upskirt honey-hive." To be honest: the gameplay is dated, hackneyed. The narrative is nearly non-existent, and a veritable lullaby. I still enjoyed the game. Conversely, I'm playing FFXIII right now. The same cheerios apply, and I could not be more bored.
  21. A second trailer and 10-minute English gameplay video have surfaced. Totori will be bundled with a soundtrack and artbook; though nothing has been said of the NISA edition bonus.
  22. Since I've been stuck at home, I'm on the final episode of Umineko no Naku Koro ni. I only just got the internet hooked up. Plan on catching up with my regular shows.
  23. lol... That always troubles me. So many games have that limitation. Balance reasons, I'm sure. But it's still silly.
  24. Good point. Well, partially. If I'm playing an "arcade" manshoot like Bad Company, it's usually on hardcore. So I can manage the objectives on my own. That and I don't like shooting someone twenty times and them not dying. Anyhow, Brink takes a bit more teamwork to accomplish the objectives than what I'm used to. Though I've certainly ragequit other games for the same reason. Also, I tend to play on the Over 30 Club or affiliated servers. There isn't one for Brink. And I didn't really take the time to search for a more mature atmosphere.
