Holy crap that FFX remake is sounding mighty fine.... Use the same engine that Final Fantasy XIII and adapted to PSVita. All that is made ​​from scratch with the new engine is the design of the characters, the aeons and stage elements. The sets and scenes in HD remasters CGI will implement a "filter" FFXIII Engine. The magic and some lighting effects are achieved with the new engine "Luminous". The Blitzball undergo small changes. Online options will include (not yet known details). The release date in Japan in fiscal 2012.

I just don't see this happening. How does MS benefit from that? Not to mention controls and all that stuff. Maybe they'll release 'special' games that can be played on both PC and 360, but I don't see how MS are going to benefit themselves by doing that

Had a bit of a haul in Gamestop's PS2 preowned section thanks to seeing God Hand there. none of the damn cases have manuals or covers but I DON'T CARE. And its buy 2 get 1 free so.......

I think Kingdom Hearts NEEDS the HD treatment if they are ever going to release a 3rd one due to how complicated that story has become. Silent Hill HD release should have Silent Hill 1 in some form or another.

Great piece, surprised you didn't bring up Dead Island, that seems to be exactly the kind of thing that this would apply to. I think the 'levelling up skills' and characters has its place in some games and not in others. Bringing up Super Metroid, its also something that has stayed through out the series. Games like Ninja Gaiden or God of War, they are so linear, they can't really do the finding weapons and skills, so they have to provide some incentive for your characters progression, some way that makes you notice how your character is growing while your playing. Trying to think of games here that don't need the RPG style skills......I think Demon's Souls doesn't. In fact to me, I think having a 'level' in that game takes away from the fact that its so supposedly skill based. buying weapons, magic with souls that's fine. But having a level, upgrading your stamina and HP? I didn't understand the need for that in it. To me, if your basing a game on being that demanding and unforgiving, you shouldn't have the need for levelling up stats. Its supposed to be about learning where you went wrong, and punishing you for rushing in, yet there's an arbitrary number on your stats.

Isn't this basically what they did with the PSP though? Its crap but I figure Sony see it as another income source, seeing as the they obviously aren't making a whole lot of money of the Vita itself, and they see people purchasing the Vita and using their back catalogue of PSN purchases on it. It sucks but then PSP users would be use to it.

I think the Land series was popular enough. All of my friends who've play video games have played them! They were really the first Mario games with a proper boss focus, unlike say Mario Bros 3 which had bosses which had an underlying similarity. So great they were!

Its looking great! Also 3DS MPO pics to look at on your 3DS here they look fantastic when viewed in 3D. Really looking forward to it, seems to combine all the best elements of previous games. Tanooki suit baby!!

Well no games this year using the attachment, and so far its all not required. In fact using the touchscreen to change the camera looks pretty more comfortable than the attachment thingy. I don't mind, not yet anyway. At the very least, every owner has a way to use it, if they want. Resi apparently will use it, but it controlled fine on its own in the demo with Mecenaries. Metal Gear, yeah that'll probably be pretty useful there. Ace Combat is a weird one.

Darts. If darts can be considered a sport than as far as I'm concerned its fair game for anything else competitive.

It seems to me that some PC gamers just don't join a boycott group about it. The sales speak for themselves. Why was there such a sales dip on PC for Modern Warfare 2 compared to 1? Anyway back to Diablo 3! Remember when there were people bitching about it being too colourful?

Finished Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Was at the save before the last battle for ages, so I decided to finish it today! Absolutely loved it, great fun. The script was so great, so many little funny touches, Bowser was badass too! Those rare touch screen battles where you controlled Bowser in his Giant form needed to be in there more, they were a delight to play. He needs more of his own games! aww and that ending screen.....

Not only your reasons but what about other members of families playing? They'd all be on different accounts. Ugh. Maybe if they'd actually made that DLC they were talking about, instead of putting in Move support, more people would have held onto the game instead of trading it in. For me, I played through the game once and that was it. I knew the story then, whether someone died or not didn't change the story in any real meaningful way. The killer was still the killer.

I was 13 in Science class, at around 3.00pm over the announcement system the principal told us what happened. I just remember being in shock, I couldn't wrap my head around it. I still remember that weird feeling of just bewilderment and confusion, as I walked to the bus after school was over.
