Good lord, yes they do. And I really don't like the dodge controls. They would be fine if not for the fact that unless you let go of the trigger, you end up lying on the ground. May I ask why? Wouldn't it make more sense to just hold down the A button during the dive to stay on the ground? I don't think I have ever seen another game do dodge rolls this way and it's a real pain to get used to.

Yeah, I use the nades and bombs and all that, but sooner or later I'm always back down to kicking people, especially when a zombie comes up on my blind spot which happens a LOT.

I do melee moves constantly, at least until the damn stamina bar runs out. If the game wants to insist so badly that I melee everything it shouldn't also ration how often I can do it.

So I've started playing this game. I didn't buy it but I'm playing someone else's copy and right now I'm on the Leon campaign. I'm on Act 2 so far. Too many enemies, not enough ammo. That's the biggest problem I have so far. It's not bad enough to make me quit (yet) but it is definitely a step down for the series.

So I went to see Frankenweenie but it was sold out so I saw Looper instead. It was a lot better than the premise made it sound but don't think about the time travel too hard or OH GOD MY BRAIN.

Looks like the current launch lineup is complete at 20 characters which I have edited my original post to reflect. No Solid Snake OR Big Boss? Really? All we can do now is hope for DLC characters. I dunno man, a lot of times when you say the image is broken I can see it just fine, but nevermind, that's not important right now. If we were to judge the last debate based on how the candidates presented themselves, which I think many people did, then Romney did win. His body language and diction were just more confident. I was trying to base things off what they actually said, though, and in that department I don't think either candidate did very well. Obama was not nearly aggressive enough in taking Romney to task for some of the shit he's said and Romney still didn't explain how the hell his tax plan can actually work. It was kind of a letdown all around.

After the Oakland game, we went to Everett & Jones in Jack London Square. All rooms of the restaurant were tuned to the debate. The place has Obama's picture on the wall and the menu, so you know this was important to the people there. http://www.eandjbbq.com/

Apparently XBL users aren't representative of the general population (surprise surprise): Last night their poll had like 60% saying Obama won, only like 30% saying Romney did (the rest saying neither), but this morning all the headlines are "Polls Say Romney Won the Debate".

Also I don't remember a Presidential debate where the candidates /didn't/ walk all over the moderator.

Hopefully this game gets one of those "we fucked up so here's a huge patch to fix the controls and menus and shit" patches that some games get when they launch with a lot of problems. That's probably optimistic of me, though.

I played the demo of the PS3 version and I remember thinking the controls were friggin atrocious.

My laptop has no disc drive. Download only. And yes, I tried restarting.

I used the latest version. 32 bit doesn't detect it and 64 bit doesn't even OPEN the setpoint software.
