Oh god, ghosts? You mean like John Edwards and those ghost hunting shows on tv? I just can't abide that one. If I meet someone who actually thinks that shit is real, I will openly mock them for it. Maybe not the coolest thing to do but I'm sorry, even my tolerance has its limits.

The more outspoken Christians tend not to do any favors to Christianity's image during election seasons. Especially those politician motherfuckers. Not really related to what Duke posted but speaking for myself I can say that I usually don't hold any real acrimonious feelings toward Christianity, even if it is a belief system I don't personally subscribe to. When it comes time to pick a president, though, holy shit it makes all the fanatics come out in the worst possible way and it tends to piss me off.

It's not as bad as the way Capcom did it since they aren't going to charge for it, but it's still a stupid practice that needs to be curtailed. In a worst case scenario, we could eventually end up with games where the last level or "true final boss" don't unlock for a month or two as a way of forcing people not to trade in their copies. Imagine if the Walking Dead game from Telltale was all complete right now but they still only released one portion of it per month just because. Free or not, it's still shady. -

Finally there's a new ipod touch. I've been wanting to upgrade to a larger capacity ever since I ran out of space on my current one, but was waiting for them to announce a new model rather than just getting the same kind I have now. This was back when 3GS was the best it got. I didn't want the Ipod Touch 4 or whatever they called it because it didn't have the dual core that the phone did, but it looks like this new model will.

This is a purely aesthetic question but here goes: My steam icon has the UAC shield on it and it's bugging the crap out of me. Is there any reason I should NOT disable UAC to get rid of it? If I should keep UAC on, is there some other way I can make it go away?

If they only did the Peppermint Butler thing once or twice I'd just write it off as a gag, but they allude to it over and over and over. The mention of his name is enough to get friggin DEATH to acquiesce to Finn's demands, he threatens to take Finn and Jake's flesh while they sleep, he plays golf with Hunson Abadeer, he could sense the Lich inside Princess Bubblegum, and he showed quite a bit of resistance to being hooked up to her aura machine. This guy has secrets.

You know who I want to know more about? This little fucker right here: The show HEAVILY implies that Peppermint Butler is a source of evil and darkness that may very well equal or surpass the likes of Hunson Abadeer and even the Lich. All kinds of questions are raised about this guy, and one thing I've learned from this show is that things that seem completely random and out of nowhere often have deeper implications.
