We can't know what they would want because their ideals back then were just that: ideals for their time. If, through some witchcraft or whatever, they were still alive in the present, who's to say they wouldn't feel differently about how things should work now? Saying that the constitution should be adhered to is fine. I agree with that sentiment. But saying that some modern ideal is "what the founding fathers would want" makes no sense to me.

Frankly, I don't even think it's possible to fully understand what the founding fathers "wanted". We're talking about men who drafted up a document hundreds of years ago in a completely different society who certainly didn't foresee the kind of America we're living in today. All we can really do with the constitution is run with our best interpretation of it from a modern point of view. Don't even get me started on that second amendment. Ideas for what that one means are all over the place.

How do you take screenshots on the Vita?

I gotta say, as a gaming device I absolutely love the Vita and I definitely see more potential for it than I do with the 3DS. Of course, with all the features it has it's easy to fall into the trap of gimmicky gameplay, but there's no denying that a developer who knows what they're doing has all the tools they need to make a truly amazing game for this machine without having to worry about the restrictions of a handheld.

I wouldn't have bothered if it wasn't holding one of the cars hostage, but it would have driven me nuts to have every car in the game except for one.

I got a wi-fi Vita with a 16GB memory card and Uncharted. I was originally gonna get a 32GB but the digital price difference for vita games was negligible and I managed to get Uncharted for 35 dollars as a physical copy anyway. It's linked to my PSN profile on my ps3 so it's the same friendlist.

This doesn't really have a point but I was reminded of something today that I always found amusing. There's a little shopping center near where I live. It's mostly family owned stores or local businesses, but for some reason I cannot fathom there is a Christian bookstore right next to a planned parenthood center. I don't remember which one was there first, but it must be real awkward when their employees pass each other by.

I finally managed to get the Twisted Gold trophy (all gold medals on Twisted difficulty) earlier tonight. Definitely one of the most frustrating trophies I ever attempted, but the car you unlock is so worth it. I spent hours online just crushing fools beneath my treads.

You know, when I read things like this I try to take solace in the knowledge that this is just the next stage of civil rights and that sooner or later this country will get its head out of its ass and grant homosexuals the equality they deserve. Who knows when it will be, but it is inevitable. You can't stop progress. There have always been people afraid of change like this, but it doesn't matter. They couldn't stop women from voting and they couldn't stop black people from integrating the schools. At some point, they won't be able to stop gay people from having federally recognized marriages, too. Just watch.
