I don't understand why they even bother wasting time with their sports lineup. Isn't EA the only option for officially licensed NFL, NBA, and FIFA games? If you're a sports nut, you either play EA games or you go fuck yourself. Need for Speed was just completely generic looking, but that's pretty much every Need for Speed game now. That prison game (A Way Out, I think?) looked interesting, at least. Battlefront II looked better than the last one, but that's really not saying much after the first one was so fucking terrible. I might have misheard but I think they said they were dropping the season pass to go with a more Overwatch inspired model of monetization? If so that's definitely a step in the right direction because season passes are a cancer on the industry.
