Man, that just goes to show how different E3 can be from one person to the next. I thought Bethesda's show was kinda shit. Couldn't care less about Fallout 76 or about games that literally only show a logo. Microsoft was somehow the best out of the big companies, mostly because they actually had a proper show with games in it. PC Gaming Show was the clear winner, though, for obvious reasons. Sorry but what the fuck does this even mean? lol Do you mean big exclusives like TLoU and the likes? Because those were never really a thing. PC exclusives tend to be in genres that generally don't work on consoles. RTS, 4X, grand strategy... mostly strategy games, I guess. Anything else like Crysis or Half-Life would obviously be multiplatform these days.

Not only that but Todd Howard said in an interview that Starfield is currently in a playable state while TESVI isn't, and they still didn't show anything of Starfield. It was 100% a "here, stfu about this already ffs" announcement. I wouldn't expect TESVI until a couple years into the next console cycle at the earliest, and that's assuming that Starfield is a launch/early next-gen release.

That trailer actually makes it look much slower and deliberate than you'd expect from RE4-style gameplay. Hope to see a proper gameplay demo soon, maybe that can set my fears to rest. Someone on Era claims to have insider info that the game will also make use of fixed angles in some manner but I'll believe that when I see it.

All in all, not a bad E3. There's still Nintendo tomorrow but I'm not expecting anything of particular interest for me there. So we've got: Mild interest/need more info: Trials Rising Metal Wolf Chaos XD Prey: Mooncrash Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition Dying Light 2 Nioh 2 Babylon's Fall Starfield FUCKING HYYYYYPE: Yakuza 0/Kiwami PC Valkyria Chronicles 4 PC Cyberpunk 2077 Doom: Eternal Control Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Resident Evil 2 Devil May Cry 5 Ghost of Tsushima and TLoU2 gameplay both looked really cool but no PS4 means I have to pretend I'm not interested. Same for Death Stranding although the platform situation seemed ambiguous at the initial announcement. I'm not holding my breath for a PC release but until they flat out call it a true exclusive I'm gonna have a tiny bit of hope.

Yeah, it sounded like we're not going to see any new game reveals, which would fucking suck. I was expecting the RE2 remake. :/ edit: Ah guess not. New Remedy game looks cool. edit2: Resident Evil 2! Bummer it looks to be over-the-shoulder instead of fixed camera, though. Really hope they didn't fuck it up too much.

Yeah, at that price pre-ordering is a no-brainer. And yeah, it's a prequel and apparently intended to be played first.

Holy fucking shit. So, the lootboxcoin is a real thing that Devolver are actually selling. People are saying the price keeps changing but I haven't personally seen it move from 150$. Is it just me or is Doom Eternal kind of a weird title for Doom 2? When I saw the title, I got instantly bummed out because I assumed it was some shitty spin-off like a card game or some mobile shit. But then they said it was a sequel lol.
