I don't oc game because my laptop is useless for gaming and something always goes wrong. I have an Xbox and a PS3 and generally prefer playing with a controller. I bought a wired xbox controller that I used on a few games on my laptop and I thought it was tits. Now I'm buying a gaming pc and will be jumping back into that scene by the end of the month and I can't wait! I would argue that console gaming is more accessible due to the fact that the hard ware never needs to be upgraded, but I think that's common knowledge. I will buy a lot of games on consoles still because that's where my friends will be, but I can't wait to get a gaming rig!

I believe it is almost like preloading, but only up to the last beta, so I believe you still will have the client of the game fully loaded and will need a release patch which may be big. I could be completely wrong though

I don't know about the store, but lets be honest, a wall plug can only look so different, the box design and packaging, while similar, can only be so different. How can you show what is in the box without putting a big picture of it on it? Here are some examples of phones that use an identical packaging system: Its a common practice for phone packaging. The usb cables, while similar, aren't apple exclusive either Creative Zen Vision M USB cable Zune USB Cable This is done for a reason, so you have to buy their overprice USB cables and so that even if you don't and buy third party cables, the companies own the design and they get some form of money out of it through patents. Its a selfish design that only benefits the company. And lastly, voice recording using a microphone.... really? Its a pretty different looking microphone, what image should they use instead? A dogs face? I know you didn't come up with it, but there are many other things that samsung could be called on and those things are really items (aside from packaging) that apple doesn't even care about.

I have never had a serious accident, my girlfriend rear-ended my baby girl (a 65 Mustang) but everything was OK because my car only got a scratch. One of my really good friends who I look at as a little sister was rear ended by a drunk driver. Her car was totaled and she had to have surgery on her back. She was on the Crew team at our University, the accident meant she couldn't row any more and had to drop out of the team. She went to court for pain and suffering, which I felt was justified because not only was the driver drunk and I hate drunk driving, but also because of the fact that she couldn't do a sport that she loved ever again. It took her nearly five years to get the money, and she only ended up getting half of what she wanted (she wanted college to be paid for, so around 14 k). She's just happy now that everything is over with, but I can't help but feel bad for her.

I never understood why people take issue with the red barrels for explosive stuff, it is easy to spot when gaming but more importantly actually very realistic. I've worked around hazardous material, and very commonly when using flammable or explosive material in giant drums they are red. It's to allow us to know not to fuck with it because it will explode. I don't need to find the label and read it, the color of the barrel tells me that it will explode. The reasons why it's used in video games are the same reason it's used in real life, to explain visually what is in that barrel. On the game art side I really love cartoony graphics. Some of my favorite is rachet and clank, sly cooper and borderlands. As long as it feels fresh it's awesome. I also really like the cartoony yet simple graphics of mini ninjas

It looks great, but it also looks like they got rid of the looting of the dead bodies that you could do in 2. I liked looting the bodies even if it was just for smokebombs, poison and other things.

To be honest, after windows 7 I hardly use the start menu, I just pin things to my task bar/use the search function in the start menu. if the start menu went away and was just a search I would actually be ok.... Then again, I am looking forward to seeing metro on a computer screen, I've been a big fan of the design scheme since I got the zune. i won't upgrade to 8 until I feel like I need to, but I'll want it.

It is with the same writer (Brian Michael Bendis) but its been "rebooted" with out actually rebooted. The series is supposed to still be good just the ultimate series went off a tangent during one of their maybe cancellation events which was called ultimatum. I haven't read that far but apparently many people didn't like that arc. Marvel then decided to keep the ultimate universe going but changed the name from ultimate spiderman to ultimate comics spiderman. So the series hasn't ended it's just marvels direction with the ultimate series changed and then Bendis became the head honcho of the ultimate series and put it back on track. The problem is that the ultimate series was to make it less convoluted from what current comics have become after 40 plus years of continuing story plots, and then marvel screwed it up a few years back and made the ultimate series almost just as intimidating. It's supposed to be as good or better now than the earlier stuff which like I said is some of my favorite stuff Edited for spoilers, I don't know if it is necessary because marvel marketed the event openly.

Thanks for the recommendation, reading through the early Spider-man books now, great stuff. I'm glad you are enjoying. Its one of my favorite series to date. I also really like the changes they made with the villains, for example the Green Goblin and Venom. I actually really like Venom in the Ultimate Universe.

Does torchlight/torchlight 2 support the controller? Seeing as they made torchlight on the 360 I would assume that maybe the PC version does too

Trying to install it, it keeps telling me that in order to install office, I must shut down office, then it force shuts down and just stops... Whats the deal with that? EDIT: Downloaded the 64 bit version, worked instantly.

I was in the same situation, so I started reading ultimate spider-man and it was a great choice. Granted this was 6 or so years ago and the Ultimate series wasn't as complicated back then. I highly suggest giving Ultimate series a go.

Uggh, this probably belongs in another thread but I'm going to say it anyways... can't we just let same sex couples marry and move on? It doesn't affect America any more than heterosexual couple marrying, and it makes more people happy in the long run
