  1. I'm sorry your right its cheaper, I miss typed
  2. Last generation after 4 years I switched to PC gaming, but I couldn't afford to upgrade after that and when I could I wanted the ps3 instead. PC gaming has gotten more expensive and I've been wanting to jump back in but unfortunately my finances we're more rigid than they were 6 years ago until recently. I will be back into PC gaming until the next consoles arrive. And even then probably a while longer. I think the lifespan has been pretty good for me due to the market, but I'm ready to move on like I was at the end of the ps2 gen. It's time
  3. I hope it does well, but like I said, if there is no specific development t for this device, than why would one buy this when they already have a device that can play these games? The infrastructure is nothing you cant already buy in a device, and the real kicker is the idea that why would a developer limit themselves to this audience when there are already going to be more people who can play theorems games? The most I see as an out come is more games will have controller support for the phone. I don't see a developers spending the money to make an exclusive for this device when you or I already have a device in our pocket that can play their games.
  4. The problem I think is the development for this device. Everybody practically has a smart phone these days, phones that can play android/iphone games, why would one need to buy a $100 console to play those same games? If developers make games that run on this device exclusively I see a reason to buy. But if I already have an android device, why would I want to spend another $100 on something that can play games I already can play? The prospects of this console excite me, but I'm cautious to see if developers take advantage of this thing that can do something that I already can't do on my android/i device, computer, xbox or playstation.
  5. The OG power rangers movie? I thought it was super creative, Its too bad it wasn't considered canon... I loved the rangers costumes in that movie too, they looked like they could actually protect the rangers some what.
  6. Just bought PS+, I've been debating it for a long while, and now that I have a full time job on salary I decided that I could afford the yearly cost.
    1. Hot Heart

      Hot Heart

Haha. You only really need to read the first sentence there.

    2. Waldorf and Statler

      Waldorf and Statler

Would've been funnier if it had been Will Ferrel and he had screamed "America!" right before he plunged into the ocean

  7. Holy shit good? or Holy Shit bad? I'm interested in the game, but the actual promo trailer makes me less interested. I've heard things going both ways too.
  8. It seems more and more people seem to hate skyrim and insult those that do like it, but its my game of the year. Also I like the enter the matrix with all of its terrible writing and graphics and every thing
  9. Another one for me. Comparing used games to a used car. They aren't the same, a car needs repairs and maintenance. Every car NEEDS money to be spent to continue to drive, and every car company has the ability to make profit off of repairs and maintenance. Did you know you can buy toyota brand oil? Honda brand steering fluid? Used cars still generate revenue for the auto makers, very unlike used games. I support used game sales, but buying a used car is not even remotely the same.
  10. Lil pirate, 10/10, the fact that you drew it only makes it more amazing... i drew mine too in ms paint
  11. @dean essentially, I enjoy the superhero mmos but they all just feel almost there and I blame the mmo portion of the game. Take it to single player and you can have a great experience with a reactive world and way better combat.
  12. An open world RPG!! But based in a modern metropolis, where you create your own character, and you get super powers, and you customize your characters superhero suit/look with a choice to be a villain or a hero. At the start of the game you make your initial decision to go with the bad guys or the good guys, but as the game progresses you get more morally confusing decisions that allow you to become an anti-hero/anti-villain. Of course the heroes/villains you fight with/against will be original but bear resemblances to actual comic book heroes (like Statesman) and a morally questionable governmental facility (like SHIELD). The combat is an action game. As you progress through the game people on the streets start to know who you are and either love/hate you. You create a persona both as an individual hero and as part of the team.
  13. I expect to see this in some form or another on the ps4. Maybe an option to stream some games. I don't think it's going to be universal for all games but I do think some may take advantage of it
  14. Rumor floating around is you may be able to get a next Xbox for $99 if you sign up with a two year contract with specified cable companies. I think its a brilliant idea but I may be in the minority, if I'm going to get cable Tv, and a new xbox why not get rid of the box rental fee and lower my xbox price tag at the same time?
  15. No, everybody I work with talks baseball so i started to get into it, I've had some amazing tickets for the Giants games from my work, so its been pretty decent. As a former LA resident its hard to watch the dodgers get their rears kicked.
  16. I played Planetside back in the day. Not very much, but I enjoyed what I had played. My internet wasn't up to snuff at the time, so I didn't play it a whole lot.
  17. I'm most excited for Cap 2, because I want to see how they handle captain america in the modern age without the Avengers. I don't really know a whole lot, but I have been trying to figure out Marvels game plan. I knew the plan up to Avengers, but now that Avengers has released, with critical appraise, I don't know what they plan next aside from repeating the cycle.
  18. I can't imagine that (spoiler) will be a villain for the next Thor movie, mostly because (spoiler) is a huge character and a fight with (spoiler) would require the entire team of the Avengers. I know (spoiler)'s role in the Guardian's was very large, but if (spoiler) does make an appearance in that film series, and it is unrelated to the current marvel movie universe, than I can only imagine that it would be an unrelated version. I could be wrong, but I get the feeling that Marvel is trying to build a movie universe to parallel with their comic book universes, like a universe 616 movie or something
  19. The MTAR is way overpowered. I played it, loved it, and realized that its just too damn good.
  20. Well I don't know much about the Guardians, but the ending of Avengers was announcing the next villain mostly, I think
  21. Im getting the hang of Northern California, still not as great as the southern part of the state, but I'm enjoying it up here.

The food in NorCal is better, but the central coast is way pretty, with less people and more wineries. Way better than the central valley. :(

For us Asian folks, its the Bay Area or LA region for food. Elsewhere... you'll have to find ways to make it yourself. How's the heat in the Central Valley? :P

Not bad so far. Just a few days last week hit 100. Been in the 80s/90s for the most part.

  22. I don't think I like one system more than the other. The ps3 has the fantastic xmb, my favorite franchises of this generation and free online play. My xbox has better online functions (at a yearly fee) all my friends have it and its the controller I prefer. Both systems have what I want, ill go months without playing my ps3 or xbox and then just boot the other up and swap over in an instance. I used to defend Sony but ive got to thepoint where picking a console to defend is pointless. In a perfect world I would like to see the next consoles more identical to eachother with cross platform play, but that ain't happening
  23. I use comixology. I got the kindle because I figured that a I hardly need a tablet because I already have a laptop, but I wanted one and this was cheap. For what it is its great. I used comixology on a phone and the extra screen real estate makes it better. I also love the panel by panel set up. The kindle fire is exactly what you pay for. Its not as good as an ipad, but you pay 1/3rd of an ipad. I'm actually posting on it right now.
  24. I love reading on my kindle fire. The only problem I run into is how easy it is to spend way too much money on comics
