      I love my 360 controller, and I'm hoping for a controller very similar. I will keep this in mind as an option, but am hoping for something more dedicated and wireless.

    I walked into this same scenario. Only, the guards were attacking the Giant and the dragon. I watched for a bit. After watching, I was so bored of waiting for them to kill each other, I got involved. So, as the dragon landed, I jumped in, and pulled a shout out to my homie on the dragon side. Well, it got the dragon, but hit a guard. So, after I killed the dragon, the giant comes after me. I take him down, but I'm getting hit by something that is draining my health. Turns out the guards are after me for the friendly fire. I figure that my health is so down, and I'm about to kick the bucket, let's fight. That lasted about 10 seconds before my death scene and reload. Stupid guards! Stay the hell out my way.

      Boom. If you have a vga monitor, you might need to grab a dvi->vga converter thingie (they're cheap). But that's DX11 and will handle quite a bit of game. I dunno what the power requirements are and whether you can meet them, though.

      @GOH: It's bundled with a DVI/VGA adapter. The EVGA website suggests a 400 Watt power supply. I'd go 550 or so to be safe.

      Eh, my code doesn't work. Even tried making a new account and getting a second one. So, I guess either they're regionally restricted or they just hand them out randomly regardless of whether or not someone else already received the same one, and the ones I got have already been redeemed. :/

    I told myself I wasn't going to play Skyrim last night, as I am under the weather. I did play, though, completing a few minor quests and gaining even more quests. It never stops!

    American cheese is basically good for melting. That's it. So, cheeseburgers and hot sandwhiches are the only places it should be used. That's it. Though, I have heard of it being used in prison recipes (inmates making, not the prison itself).

    Best Buy has Brink for $4.99. Some people liked it. A lot didn't. So, I'm going to stay away from a recommendation. It's for PC, PS3, and 360.

    I'm just trying to make it back to Whiterun. But, every friggin 5 minutes I'm sidetracked. Last night, I was killed by a dragon at least 10 times. But, I was taking it as a learning experience and kept on until I killed it. I'm at Level 9 still, so I'm still way early in the game. So, I finally kill it. It catches fire and lands on top of me. I die. I reload and kill it again. This time, I kill it, but get killed by a skeleton warrior since I was left weak after the battle. Last scenario one more time. This time, I kill the dragon, kill the skeleton warriors. Forget to save! Get killed by some tough guy at the top of the mountain. Go back, kill the dragon and the skeleton warriors and save. That was not a fun time, but I now know how to better kill a dragon. #ElderWorldProblems

    The skulls on that bow tie are classic. He definitely has personality. It's that Sandra Brown and Bobby Flay who should just both go jump off a cliff: Bobby Flay: Takes every recipe in the world and adds black beans and corn. You want dim sum? Let's make it southwestern style. Put some salsa on top. That is every Bobby Flay recipe. Sandra Brown: A cocktail with every meal, and her recipes are nasty. I have not made one of her recipes yet that are any good.

    So, I got the XBL app for the iPhone. It is okay, nothing special. But, I checked my gamer score. Sure enough, it is still 10. Not 10,000. Just 10. I might want to put my box back online or I may lose my street cred.

      Bah. Gamer score can be pumped up by playing the start of a bunch of rented games more easily than mastering a few to completion... It's more like "consumer score" :P

      I do think Trophies got the whole "Platinum" thing right over the gamerscore thing. High gamerscore means either you've beaten a few games, or started dozens. A platinum you can be sure.

    This is what Bethesda put on their blog: "While the 1.2 update fixed the long-term play issues for most PS3 users, we are aware that is not the case for some. We’ve been reaching out to a number of those users to collect save games, so we can take a look at their specific issues. Right now we know it’s not one thing, but a combination of smaller ones that some folks are seeing, but others are not. Some seem to be the PS3 autosaving in the background (you can turn that off), some may be SPU AI updates, and some may relate to dynamic system memory allocation." For what it's worth. I'm having fun playing, so I can't complain. Until the bugs start, then I'll complain.

    Yeah, my save file is about 4 megs right now (it's early still, only level 8). So, I haven't hit the major lag I am supposed to hit. As slow as I play, I should get there about the time Bethesda figures out a solution to download. ETA: Early January.

    Fucking Elves. But, seriously, Obsidian has not done a project that hasn't been buggy on any system. They can write a great story, but are horrible with quality control. And I love Obsidian.
