It happened after the All Star break. They are still a winning team, just not in a good enough position to take the division right now. Beltran is starting to step up. All we need is Arizona to do what the Rockies did last season: lose.

"Splice": The movie makes no sense. Essentially, it's a SciFi movie about a corporation using genetic material to try and create new species. The result is a movie so bad, my left nut decided to reject me and exploded in a ritual suicide. The main characters are poorly written and have no sense of direction. The result is a movie which goes in too many directions, and all of them lead to the Jersey shore, but with less STDs.

Garlic fries and the hot dog stand that grills the dogs and onions, not the regular hot dog shops. Those browned onions and the mustard on top of that dog is freakin' amazing. The smell in the car ride home isn't nearly as pleasant. Ha!

Beltran isn't the reason. Huff hasn't delivered. We have 2 catchers that can't hit replacing an All Star player. We have very few players that have hit a HR. Our starting 2nd baseman has been out for, basically, the last couple of years, and should probably just retire at this point. 2 starting pitchers are on the DL, along with a key bullpen pitcher and our closer. I'm not even sure how we are just 3 games out right now. I've been to as many A's games as I have Giant's games. I like Suzuki as a catcher, but they have problems they need to address. But they don't want to spend the money. AND, those fuckers took the brisket off of the menu at the BBQ joint inside the park. I was pissed, and had to go to Everett & Jones down in Jack London Square. I'm hungry. Going to the vending machine to see what I can buy for $.55.

The Rockies? I can't even stand any team that is against the Giants. The closest I came was when the D-backs had Randy Johnson and Craig Counsel. That was because I wanted them on my team. 1 out of those 2 wasn't bad.

I notice this happens more in great movies, too. If you watch As Good As It Gets, there are little things you will notice the second time watching it which are significant, but subtle. This made it more interesting the second time watching.
