  1. Newegg has Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 pre-order for $47.99 when you enter coupon code EMCYTZT636 at checkout. Shipping is free. Don't know if this is only in the U.S. XOXO Gossip Girl
  2. Have you tried JJ Games? http://www.jjgames.com/product/1741
  3. I don't make recommendations or screen what I pass along when it comes to deals. I merely share what might matter to someone. Apparently, it must only matter to them in the US, though, for it to be useful.
  4. Civ V is $12 download at Green Man Gaming Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines and Dino D-Day are $5 at Steam EA Store (discount appears in cart) has a bunch of stuff, including Battlefield games, Mirror's Eddge, Sim's games, and Command & Conquer games
  5. This looks interesting for a good time waster/something pretty to look at while waiting in a doctor's office. http://www.freeappaday.com/napp.php?id=1406
  6. The color looks like a laundry detergent. Oil comes in these damn small bottles over here. You have to buy 4 or more to change the oil, and the price is much higher for the oil. After you change the filters and fluids, it's actually cheaper to go to Wal Mart for an oil change.
  7. Gas is regulated here as to what kind of container it's allowed to go into. Those 1 gallon jugs of tea are in a clear PP bottle. Gas needs to be in the EPA approved containers. In California, the container must also meet the requirements of the CARB. The California government is regulatin' more than Warren G and Nate Dogg ever could.
  8. We have football, dear Chewie. Practices start this week. I'm fucking ballz excited!

  9. People in the US do coupon. Basically, they come in periodicals, just need cut out for the most part. Sometimes in the mail. Sometimes by buying a product with a coupon in it. Anyway, some people use them, some don't. Then, there are the crazies.
  10. Finally! Now we can get on with football season.

  11. Southern can best be described as the cut, not the cooking method. Where hash browns, traditional, as shredded.
  12. Tatertots are hash browns formed into a delicious nugget of joy. They are seasoned, and taste great with ketchup (unseasoned is also available, but tastes like the product of a bear shitting on a cracker - served at Sonic). Southern hash browns are more like french fries that died for our sins. Smashed by the Hulk. For me, they fit well with chorizo. Not sure how others eat them.
  13. I had some maple sausage last night with eggs, bacon (American), tatertots, pancakes, and southern hash browns. Sounds like a lot of food, and, yes, it was.
  14. SciFi and fantasy books are only 10% off right now at Borders. Manga is 20%.

Is this online Borders? I heard they were going online-retail only.

I went to their last shop in Scotland (I believe) just before it shut down. God some graphic novels usually worth £20 for about £6-8. Was totally sweet.

I hope to get some nice notebooks before they close. I wonder how low they are ...

  15. Picked up two free bottles of Del Monte Ketchup at work today. Score for me!

Good thing I use physical traps. The poison sucks because they die in the walls and their rotting corpses stink to high heaven.

  16. I was getting at American Bison been Bison Bison. WTF disliked Chia Tea cos its Tea Tea. They call it American bison? Didn't know.
  17. I love American Bison. That shit is good on my grill. On Americanism: "Haters gonna hate." Quite applicable.

No, but people liked it a lot. I do have time between now and the release of Revan. Hmmm....

  18. People use the OED still? My use of that book was limited to college, wherein I minored in English. Back in those days, my parents made tea using a coffee pot, putting the tea bags where the coffee usually goes. Right now, I'm enjoying some green tea (2 bags, 12ozs of hot water, and 2 teaspoons of sugar). It tastes much better when it's stronger.
  19. I actually think you are on to something. People who burst out in odd rants and talk real ugly usually have some horrible mental disorder. I have a friend who went off her meds in order to undergo surgery. She went from a normal person to someone I didnt even recognize at times. Once she was back on the meds, she was normal again. Thank God!

    Apple

But do they sell the iPed?
  21. Well... There is instant tea. Just add water and some sugar. Lipton makes it. It's quick and lazy, but will do in a pinch. Can be hot water or cold, as there are no tea leaves involved, just a powder. It's not super common to most people. There is sun tea. Put tea bags into water jug and let sit for a while. Quite tasty. Lipton bags are best. I prefer this. Boil water. Put tea bag in cup. Add a spoon or two of sugar. I like my tea strong, how I like my men. No tea bag removal until I'm done. Earl Grey is also charming.
  22. As much as Oracle and IBM iSeries make life better, they sure are a pain in the ass to trouble shoot.
