Uh, I have some bargain bin, £10 jobbie from PC World. I feel justified in that the most my laptop sees of games is Peggle and rarely, Torchlight. I was, perhaps foolishly, under the impression a mouse was just a mouse.

I've only played Modern Warfare. I really enjoyed it but I can't justify picking up another modern, 'realistic' shooter when they're all pretty samey. Oddly enough, MW1 still has a pretty active online community, which did surprise me given it's now well out of date.

I wanted to like Layton but for one, I'm shit at most puzzles and secondly I found the integration of puzzles with plot to be non-existent. It wasn't like Hotel Dusk where the puzzles were set up to progress the plot by being relevant. They were just there for the sake of it. You could get a similar experience by reading a Sherlock Holmes book and stopping every 10 pages to do a brainteaser.

As in their texting app? Yes, it replaces the txt app with one that actually works as it should; quick compose/reply, being able to read and reply to texts from any app, etc. That it's been out so long and Apple still haven't integrated these features is boggling. Speaking of updating, I'm hoping whatever firmware we're up to these days is jailbreakable when I pick up my i4 on Friday.

As much as I did enjoy the Edgeworth game, it's ending was dragged out for far too long and Kay ranks up there as one of the most annoying assistants/characters in the series. I wouldn't necessarily mind Capcom doing a sequel but it smacks a bit of a cop-out as they're clearly unsure where to take the main series in the wake of Apollo.
