I'm almost certain that it's unrelated but the best relationship I've had my partner didn't hate them but generally saw them as a waste of time, whereas my gamer/anime girlfriend was a complete pain in the ass and went sour very quickly.

Actually, this works to your advantage. Being top of the speedwall nets you an additional 2000 bounty per event. Towards the end of the game that's not a huge amount but every little helps.

FFVII and VIII when I played the latter many years later as an adult. Some of the themes you can't really appreciate as teenager. Other than those two, MGS4 made me well up a few times.

I'm not surprised. The Tory party still acts as though they live in the Victorian era, it makes sense they'd try and regress the rest of the country back to it too. Actually, because it's leather, folding it back isn't really an option. I mean you could, but it'd probably damage and weaken the fold. So yes, it does kind of flop there but you can hold/catch it in such a way with your palm so it's not to obtrusive. Kind of hard to explain but makes sense when you do it.
