VLR definitely requires all endings before getting the true ending. Though there's a debate as to whether or not they can be called 'endings' or not but that's a whole other discussion. As for 999, I may be wrong as a it's a certain 2 endings you need to see but certainly not all. I remember completing the game with the good ending on my third playthrough and missed two of the bad endings.

As someone with a duff laptop and never got round to it before, I think I'll drop some money on a nicer liking TR for the PS4.
-
Strictly, theres only one particular ending you need to see before getting the true good ending. It is worth seeing all the bad ones tho.

Steam ID: Chronixal UK PSN ID: Chronixal What are your favorite genres? Platformer, RPG, Shmup, FPS What are your favorite games? FFVII, Sonic 2, Hyperdimension Neptunia, Killzone, Dead or Alive Are you looking for any non-Steam gifts? If the gifter is able to obtain and send a £10 UK PSN voucher, that would be appreciated and would take precedence over anything on Steam. Will you take games not on your wishlist? No. Am not a huge PC gamer by nature and currently using an under-powered laptop so anything new or particularly fancy will not play nice.

One of us, one of us, one of us...

Looks like you're right, the pass is for future coop expansions. Ah well. No biggie, standard multiplayer it is then.

I've been meaning to try the demo but I'm kinda torn based on what we know so far. I love me some Final Fantasy but never really loved the job system in any game outside of Tactics and the graphics look like those ugly models from the DS games. Never mind the micro transactions. That said, some old school turn based Jrpg would be nice. Like say, I'll try the demo and report back.

I was under the impression it was if you bought the season pass, unless I'm getting ahead of myself.
-
Anyone fancy some multiplayer some time tonight? Looking into possibly getting the season pass to share with someone for some co-op goodness if anyone is interested.

Quit making this difficult, Ethan! In all seriousness, I'd like a headset that's going to play nice with the PS4 and PC with surround that isn't going to break on arrival.

Kind of agree and disagree on the writing and cases. I certainly felt case two to be the weakest of the and case three kind of throws in 'that' character just to go "Oh hey, Apollo had his own game to right?" But on the whole I found case 4/5 to be one of the best in the series IMO. The new characters were an absolute treat, Athena instantly became one of my favorites and Blackquill was brilliant. Definitely hoping he returns in some capacity.

See, I am currently leaning towards just getting a really nice pair of standard headphones for late night gaming and decent pc headset with mic for multiplayer, seeing as when I do play online the chat is always done through Skype. Would make live streaming a bit static though realistically, would I use it that much? Remains to be seen.

I've got codes to claim £7 off Killzone Shadow Fall and Knack on Amazon. Must be used before Dec 13 so be quick. I assume this might only be for Amazon UK but worth a go.
-
For my PS4 purchase, Amazon sent my codes for £7 off Killzone, Knack and PSN+ 12 months, so that seemed like a good opportunity to top up my subscription. Should be set til late '16 now. I'll throw up those codes in the giveaway thread soon.

I've just about had it up to here with gaming headsets. Initially I purchased a pair of Astro A40s that were very very nice sounds and comfort-wise but there were problems with the chips that cracked and static so back they went. Then the other day I figured I'd try some Tritton 720+ and the mic doesn't work so they're going back to the store today. At this point in just going to wait and see what proper PS4/PC headsets are released.

Just going through Killzone Shadow Fall at the moment. Doing as I always do and going through the campaign before touching multiplayer but can't wait to give it a go. I notice too the online pass says you can share with three/four friends. I wonder how unless they mean sharing on the same machine.

My take is within 3-5 years Nintendo will be faced with one of two scenarios; forfeit the home console market and focus entirely on the handheld side of things or become the next Sega. The difference in success between the console and handheld divisions at this point is night and day and we've gone three generations where the home console for them has, for all intents and purposes, failed. No longer are they the console where third parties date not bother but they've now got the added problem of being machine that's way behind in power. At this point, i'd say the mindset is set and it'd be a Herculean task to reverse it. Going strictly handheld would let them cut their losses and focus on the area they're currently dominant in. However, I suspect in actuality they'll soldier on and we'll see scenario two in the future.

It feels pretty good to sign on at almost anytime and have a load of friends online, as opposed to one or two before.

Couldn't get on with Odin Sphere. I found the leveling system beyond infuriating.

Everyone with a Vita should own Muramasa. I'd put it ahead of Dragons Crown as Vanillaware's best work.

It took me a good hour to sign I to PSN but my shiny new PS4 is up and running. Funnily enough grabbing and installing the update was a breeze. Managed to download the two free games too so all sorted. My one gripe is it appears us Europeans didn't get codes for PS+ with our consoles.

I refuse to take pronunciation lessons from a nation that seemingly can't spell nor say the word Aluminium correctly.

Perhaps I'm not looking hard enough but a large portion of regular headphones are what you'd class as 'on-ear' rather than the over-ear of gaming headsets. I find that on ears hurt after an hour or two, especially with glasses on.

Less than 24 hours for the EU launch. I'm sat in work and I can't quite stand it.
