I turned off all the lights, closed the curtains, stuck my headphones in and gamed all evening to detour any trick or treaters. And massive success, no one came to my door. Just as well, as I hadn't bought any sweets as a contingency.

Current peeve of mine is this seemingly random crusade against internet comments. Laughably held on social commenting websites. It's pure snobbery of the highest form.

Last thing I bought off any significance was a pair of Astro A40s. Superb piece of kit though after hearing off all the issues some have had, every little pop or noise make me crap myself that it's duff. Tho it's usually the game or loose connection.

Real pie in the sky guess, but I see the PS4 having a very successful launch and will really take off for the wide audience once word of mouth gets around about the differences in quality. Either way might be tough to get one in the near future.

Read some whining that there's a lack of punishment or it's too easy now. I disagree entirely, it actually makes more sense now as its only courtroom blunders that get you punished, as would generally be the case.

Never quite understood why it's referred to as a war regardless. You never hear this terminology used in other industries.

It's not really much of a 'war' at this point. The Wii U comes out looking better than the XO purely for not really competing with the other two and doing it's own thing. The XO is currently the one legged man in an ass kicking competition against a giant in size15 boots.

Currently booted up KH 1.5 HD as one last hurrah before the PS4 arrives. Looking good so far.

Finished Metal Gear Rising the other evening. Superb game and another great outing from Platinum. Once you get the parrying down, it becomes second nature. It kind of goes all out silly towards the end but still well worth picking up and playing.

Athena might be one of the best new characters in the series. And holy shit, her backstory. (Tell me you didn't get chills when THAT image appears in Simon's testimony.)

Just finished Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies. Some localisation issues with some of the text and not liking a lot of the new voices aside, an absolutely superb game. Case 4/5 was positively brilliant.

I loved the Vanillite line. Pokemon has always had oddball creatures, even G1. Floating magnets, a pile of sewerage? I think it fits fairly well and is a fairly decent ice-type. As for X/Y, liking the fact you get 2 starters, especially as the original trio. Charmander for life.
