The PC port of Tomb Raider is just a bit dodgy, though Nixxes have been patching it, so I've seen a few of the bugs disappear (hopefully the same showstopping one I encountered is now gone).

I don't remember much in the Wolverine game but I know there was a fair amount in the first Gears, since it was meant to mask that it was loading the next section. I guess it's like the old Mass Effect 'elevators vs. loading screens' (I preferred elevators when they had the dialogue).

Yeah, I think I used to cheats to skip through levels until everything was unlocked and went from there. Wasn't really to do with difficulty but impatience. Freeplay would be pretty sweet though.

Oh, so many hours spent on that game when I was younger. I'm afraid to grab it now in case it doesn't live up to my memory of it. I think I actually spent most of my time cheating (24628 on the fax machine or something like that, I recall) and building the ideal hospital.

Actually really liked the first one and saw this at a good enough price that it was worth taking a chance with the second one.

Well, of course, but you'd think there are ways to enhance the crispness and such. It wasn't meant as a literal comment on the character or the actor but the production. That's all.

I thought it was a really good episode. It spent some time fleshing out the situations, revealing a bit more about some of the characters (though, I really wish Jaime Lannister would speak up a bit. His muttering always seems a bit too low). I liked seeing Tyrion's reaction to Olenna's 'browbeaten' comments, Robb's stubborn adherence to his father's ideals, the cracks showing with Stannis, the tension between Jorah and Barristan, Tywin being an incorrigible Machiavellian. It was all good stuff. Though, it was funny to see lots of fairly extended scenes of conversation and monologue (and butts) for the most of the episode and then the whole Sansa/Baelish bit whizzing by in a series of quick cuts.
