Game of Thrones (Current episode spoilers)
Hot Heart replied to Can's topic in Entertainment Exchange
Now that was a good episode. A nice mixture of agonising, machinations and revelations. -
As for Real Triggers, yes, they are very good (couldn't use a controller without them), yet I still prefer fire being on R1 whenever I've tried shooters on the PS3 (so...Resistance 2 and Uncharted).

Lawrence of Arabia. I had never actually seen this before but it was on 'the list'. Great film and the sort of thing that doesn't really get made anymore (though people such as Ridley Scott really like to try). It presents a deep and layered character who is not the typical 'hero' you might expect, and Peter O'Toole does a wonderful job. The real-life history is obviously a lot more complex, but the film distils enough so that you have a decent thread of a story through which to follow the characters (inconsistencies be damned). It is a little cringeworthy that they 'brown-face' a few actors to play the major Arabian roles, but the people they cast (Alec Guinness, Anthony Quinn) are so great that you soon forget that. Although, blu-ray probably highlights Quinn's prosthetic nose a little more than the original release... I had to watch it in two sittings (the original has an intermission, preserved on this release) because it's roughly 3 hours 45 minutes long. It's no worse for it though, and rarely were there parts that felt like they could've been a little shorter. This is possibly down to the magnetic performances and imagery throughout. And, of course, it would be remiss not to mention that score.

As weird as it was, Sick Sick Sick really grew on me. I think it was the infectious (lolpun) cadence of the verse, but yeah, the overall album wasn't great; just a few really good songs. I will say that I preferred Lullabies To Paralyze over Songs For The Deaf. Probably just me though. And I really liked Them Crooked Vultures, too.

I'm sure I posted a live version in here a while back at least. Can't say it really struck me as anything special, though I'm sure it'll sit better on the album.

'Bought' Warframe...after hearing about God Mode. Though, God Mode does look like it might be worth it during a sale, but it can't beat F2P.

Stumbled across this. Figured it was worth sharing. http://www.slate.com/blogs/moneybox/2013/04/17/goldbugs_in_westeros_house_tyrell_is_richer_than_house_lannister.html -
Oh, I love Alison Brie.

Is that Joseph Gordon-Levitt?!

Seems to be three endings ('epilogue sequences') and then the associated variables.

Because it has barnacles, silly! Best. Bonus. Ever.

Game of Thrones (Current episode spoilers)

Do you mean a modern rock version of the song that Locke's men were singing that plays during the credits? -
It's understandable, sure, but I think it's attributable to more than just one thing. I know a couple of people who had played the first game and felt that the 'rules don't apply' during the introductory section. Which is itself understandable since it's the one time in the whole game that you're meant to be defending somewhere instead of infiltrating it.
-
The confusion comes from the segregation between an introductory section where you don't even have your powers and where you are not given a full HUD or any of the other notifications from completing sections to tell you if you weren't spotted, didn't kill anyone, etc. and the rest of the game where all of those things are present.

You'd remember to close your spoiler tags.

I'm sure I've missed posting some past ones, but this sounds p interesting. http://www.pcgamer.com/previews/the-witcher-3-first-look/

The mission part of the DLC can be played anytime after Cerberus' attempted coup. The rest will sort of unlock naturally as people become available. Though, as Ethan suggests, I would leave it until just before the 'point of no return' (i.e. the assault on Cerberus HQ), which is also where it puts you 'post-game'.

Ah, I'm sure he'll deal with it. That joke's been done already somewhere, hasn't it?

Still fairly close...

A Plunkett article I totally agree with? Thought I'd never see the day. http://kotaku.com/im-sorry-miranda-my-shepard-just-doesnt-love-you-an-472020219
