  1. Yeah, well, switch to a currency of pound sterling and then maybe you can join in. Damn yanks...
  2. And I guess a case for not judging a book by its cover.
  3. A Town Called Panic is on my list of films to watch, but I never seem to be in the mood for such silliness. I did like those Cravendale adverts though.
  4. We have not. Add me on Steam and we'll work out details. Hot Heart and Sko are probably sleeping right now, as they're UK, but I can buy it tonight or tomorrow for sure. Sounds good to me! Only just got my PayPal up to date but it should be working (still waiting on some e-cheques to clear because I didn't do that first. Oops). If you PM the amount and your email, I can sort that out, and I don't mind if you want to check it clears before sending it over.

  5. I'll put it here so maybe it's easier to notice. Sporkwaffles, Skoshuke and I are up for a four-pack of Iron Brigade on Steam. So there's one spot open for anyone interested. Currently, it's 20% off and splitting the pack makes it about $8.99/£5.73 each. Which is pretty good by my reckoning!
  6. Yeah, without knowing too much about it, my big concern was it being a load of references and homages rather than an engaging story.
  7. I did put a status up about going in for a four-pack.
  8. I was considering reading that but wasn't sure if I'd like it. Currently I'm on The Big Sleep. Man, do I love some of this prose.
  9. Probably should've asked earlier but...anyone in for an Iron Brigade four-pack on Steam?

  10. ALL BOW TO HYPNO-TIM. FOR YOOMANITY'S SAKE.
  11. Ah, that explains that then. So...my point stands.
  12. The problem with the DLC stuff comes from its inception though. As in, the developer has already decided that it will not be part of the base game and so is ultimately inconsequential. Not setting it aside could've made for a better, more uniform experience. Though, the Da Vinci Disappearance seemed far better designed than nearly all the side stuff in the core version of Brotherhood...
  13. Isn't it...'set aside content to split across various retailers'?
  14. I'm guessing that's the 'dubstep' track that I heard a while back. I still need to check out the last album. Didn't really like the singles I'd heard, though one sounded OK.
  15. I believe a scone is like what Americans call a 'biscuit'.

  17. No, it's pronounced 'scone'.
  18. Cyber reminded me actually. Now more people have finished Arkham City, I'm wondering if anyone got the 'easter egg' at the start of the last paragraph in my GOTY post.
  19. Rear Window is amazing. All Hitchcock with Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart is amazing.
  20. Solomon Kane. It was only £2.50 and I'd heard good things, so I thought I'd give it a shot. It's not really bad, and it adheres to its gritty and grimy style fairly well, with some decent moments of action. The story just felt a bit lacking overall and it never really hits its stride. Was funny having a serious action hero from the west country though.
  21. Shoot 'Em Up This film is incredibly stupid, but enjoyably so. You definitely do need to turn your brain off. Though, I knew I'd love it after a few minutes in, when he punches a carrot through a guy's head and then Breed starts playing. It's weird because it seems to be attempting some sort of anti-gun message but is full of violence and not to be taken seriously. I enjoyed it despite this.
