Yeah, he's a funny guy. I may look into some new Marvel stuff, I did enjoy some of the X-Men runs with some different writers. Will probably just look at the latest trades. Just no more Bendis-led 'events'.

I got a bit disillusioned with most comics lately. Well, the more 'mainstream' stuff anyways. I blame a lot of it on those stupid big event crossovers. Plus it's expensive and takes up a lot of space (guess I should chuck some really). I've mostly been borrowing stuff whenever my friend remembers to give me them, or buying the odd trade. Been enjoying Y: The Last Man, Walking Dead, Powers and Invincible mostly. I loved Fell but not sure what Ellis is doing with that at the moment. Maybe I should bug him on Twitter. That's what the sites for, right? Pestering celebrities?

This was from ages ago, wasn't it? Where you could make your own wallpaper. But I think I'd seen they'd 'repurposed' it into a contest. I think mine is saved somewhere and I can find it when I'm back home. Good to see the tireless marketing for this poor, little film. I lesbians it.

Film discussion: Heartless, I believe the 'retcon' during the film was a sacrifice to new viewers. Setting up a quick load of background, while keeping it visually interesting. In the series pilot you get that (well-acted) bit of backstory told by Simon, which probably wouldn't thrill film audiences. Also, look out for Zac Efron playing a young Simon Tam in the series. I'd kinda guessed Book's 'mysterious' background but, apparently, there was a comic that explained it all (although reviews say it's bit rubbish; like the other comics). It's probably clear I'm a total Firefly nerd (and I love my Blue Sun t-shirt), but I have a talent for remembering pointless shit. Currently, writing an article about Firefly and Mass Effect 2. Not ashamed.

Haha. If it's aged 'relatively well' it's because it couldn't really get much worse. Still love that game though.

It's called a Mega Drive. GOSH! I never owned a SNES but I loved my (second-hand) Mega Drive. First played one round a friend's when I was around 9-10. We used to spend ages playing Sonic 2, with me taking 'control' of Tails. It was cool being able to collect rings and attack baddies without the risk of actually 'dying' (because I was rubbish); even if you had to make sure to keep up with Sonic. It probably goes a way towards explaining why I've always been quite drawn to co-op games/modes. When I did get my own I had a bunch of games that came with it, but mostly stuck with Sonic 3, now playing with my cousin (again, as Tails).

Those are awesome! Goshdarnit, I'm gonna have to pick up the PS3 version when it's cheaper so we can play sometime.

Never cried at a game. Although, I'm remembering being a bit sad at that FFVII bit. Totally teared up during Toy Story 3 though.
