Yes, It feels so much like Halo(I'm not the biggest Halo fan, but I enjoy them). I knida wanted the big HALO COLLECTION! but now I feel a bit better knowing Destiny is multiplat. I too was a little surprised about the MP being separate. I guess they want everyone to be immersed? But, why not just have it be known where to go in the middle of the game? What's weird about MP...is being placed up against those with higher level..and guessing armor rates, doesn't that kind of make a small disadvantage? Not sure if they sync the levels or get rid of the armor? hmmm

I agree with Dean. I'll meat you halfway TC. Maybe the Crash has happened...but not the total collapse. It's like when people used to say that in 2012 the world will end as we know it....you could turn that around and say, "that doesn't mean we're all gonna die...just how we once knew the world." It's cheesy, maybe. But maybe gaming will just evolve to having smaller publisher(who may one day get big) and the Big Guys not relying too heavily on the 1 Bajillion dollar project. I still think we'll "big" game, but I predict publishers will work on streamlining budgets...there are some great smaller publishers that do similiar things to the big guys for a fucktonalot less. As for relying too heavily on XBO/PS4? I feel we will just see multiplats for a year or two...with a few next gen exclusives...and I feel it will start to become more and more rare to see a third party exclusive(Unless the ps4 breaks the PS2 record and beats everyone to dust....which I feel XBO will recover, and hopefully WiiU) I'm gonna admit upfront, I'm not decent at numbers. I am an English/Literature/Philosophy guy. On the ACT I made a 12-14 on math...and a 33 in English and 30-something in reading back in high school.

Sorry...forgot you across the sea... Oh, my. You just made me remember the rpgs I did play! Yeah, Valkyrie Chronicles is pretty good if you love RPG-Tactics! WKC1/2 was ok...felt kinda MMOish. So if you wanna grind. Go for it. Had some MP aspect to it too...not sure if people still play it. I'd say focus on something else. Or at least go check out a youtube video. I honestly wasn't impressed. However..I didn't play 2. I heard some good things about Eternal Sonata...I have it, but didn't play much of it. Then again. Maybe I didn't hear good things. And that's why it's gone unplayed.

Maybe it's me and I just wasn't looking hard enough, but my god...it felt like the ps2 era was better for rpg fans. How about Nier? I have it, but never beat it...only put about ten or so hours in it. But it seems quite a few people really dig it. I'll come back late next year and scream PERSONA 5(hopefully...and to go off topic I hope it's as dark as persona 3)

God, I'm so fucking jealous. My fucking mom calls me a drug addict for taking Anti-Depressants, nerve medications(not a narcotic or abusive), and a pain patch(a narcotic, but it's a partial agonist...it's not as abusive on your receptor), I also take vicodin now and again. I have Dx from multiple doctors, my xrays/mris show that my discs in my back and neck are fucked up. Been dealing with for almost a decade....but alas, I'm just a "drug addict" I am happy for you though :-)! It should be like that. Family SHOULD be supportive. But some people are afraid of what they don't understand. And "nerve pain/nerve damage" isn't always immediately visible. @Ethan. I'm closer to my mom's side too...and that shows how fucked my family relations are XD. My father was a drug addicted abusive asshole. My mom at least doesn't attack me....so, that's a plus. bahaha

The HDMI port on my PHAT/FAT/CURVY ps3 has been shot for the past 3 years. Hoping beyond all hope that it lasts a few more years. As it's my only "PS1/PS2" device I have...well besides my computer.

I hate the idea of, "their family you have to keep trying to connect" or some similar bullshit. If someone doesn't like you and treats you like shit...over and over and over... Write em off. Life is too short. Place yourself around positive(at least for the part) people that don't bring you down EVERY time you see them.

Lost Odyssey? Definitely Turn Based RPG with a deep story. Rather than the other way around. Hell. You give the wrong guy LO...and they'll be pissed. Even if he loves fantasy games. I dunno. I feel people's taste with games still depend on the mechanics first. But...this kind goes back to the whole "hardcore/dedicated gamer vs. the casual gamer. ETA: I kinda agree with you that story IS integral! But feel mechanics are equal.
