I hate when a game I reaaallly wants to play makes me realize that it'll cost me more a couple hundred bucks to play said game... Hope you're able to upgrade your system, it is truly an excellent game. Actually, I run a 32 bit system so I just have to change that, I think. However I will upgrade my compouter soon anyhow. Its getting about 8 years old now. I had to google why 32bit would matter...then I remembered one of the reasons I went to 64bit. Ram. Now I got 12GB. Ain't no 32bits gonna hold me back now!

Going to Disney on Monday...been two years since my Surgery. As well as two years since going to Disney. Haven't walked for more than an hour since then...see if I collapse. bahaha

Just spent an hour with my 360 so that my wife can play HBO GO without HDCP rearing it's ugly head...tried four usb cables....and then found out the culprit was a shitty hdmi port that had a messed up HDCP...something? Gah!

I went to the hospital today for three injections in my neck. fun! While there they asked me if I have Ebola symptoms. And if I've been near anyone with Ebola...living or dead. I said, "Does it count if I went grave robbing I'm Texas?" thankfully the nurse had a sense of humor.

I may be late to the party...but I just heard HBO GO was going to have a standalone version in 2015. How the hell did I miss that. Wonder if the price will be worth the cable cut.

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like in the us if even a third of the funding from military went to education instead. I feel teaching students coding and the like would do a lot more...

Since I totally didn't have any games to play(haha) I got a wii u and 5 games for it. Been in a Nintendo mood recently(that and it'll give my wife and I something to play together. She loves Mario Kart...picked it up mostly for her.) Legos...but GTA'd sounded intriquing...guess if I don't like it I'll return it to Gamestop in 7 days. Zombiu was super cheap(15 bucks) so, couldn't pass that up. Sadly, never played Windwaker(I was one of the jackasses who didn't like the cellshading(I was in middle school. You know..a "big kid."). And SM3DW looks fucking awesome! My Wii U came with SMBwiiu/luigi. So...guess you can add that to the list.

Got a new monitor...because LG decided to be like, "bzzzt....KABOOM" with one of its circuits...or capicitors...or something. Damn thing would come on for a second or two...with some weird whining noise(like it was just too much for me to ask it to display some porn today) and then shut off(while still acting as if it was on). Soooo. Got a cheap(99$...but usually goes for 140~ everywhere else. Thanks Best Buy!) AOC monitor. Never heard of them before. They have a 3 year warranty...so, if something breaks. I'll call them up...and if they act like little bitches, I'll just go get a better one later on. 20 million, guys. 20 MILLLLLIIIIOOOONNNN! Heard that actually doesn't matter much...and that manufacturers fuck around with those numbers all the time. Love it thus far. Brighter, prettier, and bigger than my 5 year old LG monitor. So, pretty happy I snagged it for 100 bucks(just hope it lasts...).

Same way I feel about sports games. And CoD. I kid, but I do dislike sports games....mostly because I stink at em. Welcome! And sweeeeet about the Atari, I never played much Atari, my Mother told me about a special xmas she had with her brother where they got an Atari and like 10-15 games. Thankfully, her experience with games led to all of us playing the Snes and genesis...and playstaton(s) together throughout childhood. Sadly she rarely games(used to own a ds but stopped a few years ago) and all my dad plays is Counter Strike go and othe Fps games lol. Yeah...dont know why but seeing you mention Atari flooded me with memories hahaha! Sorry for any derailment. Welcome again, and hope you stay a while.

So yuuup, got the deluxe wii-u for mah bday! Only playing Earthbound and smbros. And the day after I get a wiiu....my fucking pc monitor dies. It was lg...have never had that happen!

Planning to get a cheap AOC monitor this morning. Hopefully itll last...it does have a 3 year warranty...(my lg monitor lasted around five years...guess thats decent)

Same here...only spent about 2-3 hours in it so far, but man...it's exactly what I wanted. My wife, who likes mostly fantasy/d&d rpgs, watched me play and said, "Ah..so, your guy that uses the shotgun is like your mage with an A.O.E spell!" bahahahah. Yes. Yes, he is.
