    Almost ashamed to admit it, but I too liked CSCZ's campaign. It was old school even then, but it was ok. Wouldn't care if CSGO didn't include one though.

    That excites me, Johnny. I'm honestly pretty pumped for CSGO, hoping it won't suck. It shouldn't though. Apparently the Defense Grid team is contributing to it, so there's that for whatever it's worth.

    The problem is they've got head closeups compared to far off, dynamically lit action shots. I don't doubt they'll be much improved, but shots from the same angles would be nice.

    Joel's article was pretty jaw-dropping at the time. Didn't read Giz much myself, but still. It's the equivalent of a sign outside a car dealership that says "YOU ARE ALL MORONS PLEASE SHUT UP AND BUY THE CAR WE TELL YOU TOO."

Everybody pointing out that Valve also forced Steam on HL2 is ignoring the fact that Valve did not pull the game from retailers, who were still a major player at that point. What EA is doing is ridiculous.
