  1. Here is where I still wish we could spam answers.
  2. we're waiting on a new post somone post a game...
  3. The biggest problem with Twilight Princess was that it got very confusing on where to go. I had trouble finishing it but it was a fun game. It lacked the focus of some of the other Zelda games. Also it was a game that was 3 years too late. If it had been released instead of Wind Waker everyone would have absolutely loved it.
  4. Wow, my FPS on those settings was only like 25. Definitely need to look into upgrading my GPU soon...
  5. Just Cause 2 is a performance hog though. You noticing a boost with the 570?
  6. Well, I installed my new CPU cooler today. Ran some GTA IV and it never got about 46C. I guess stock coolers just suck after a while. I guess they always suck. Okay, well now that I've got a good cooler I'm off to overclock this puppy.
  7. Okay, looks like I'm gonna have to make the push for OOT. A Link to the Past was really the first Zelda game that was really widely accepted. It was pretty accessible and tons of fun. It had a lot of dungeons and set forth a great majority of the staples of the series. Link's Awakening is probably the one I've played the most just because it's so much better than all other gameboy games. The Ocarina of Time was a game that had been delayed for years and it was a game that had an impossible standard to live up to. It was one of the only games I've known that lived up to the expectation. It was just about as novel an experience as could be had in gaming. It tried so many new things and it did them all flawlessly. It took Zelda from fun to epic. I created a flowing story, a cast of characters and it was by far largest Zelda world ever. In a day when games were usually just games it was an experience and it was one that was completely unparalleled. Think back with me, the deku tree, the goron cave, the desert fortress, Ganon's dark world, restoring the world to light. The game went on far longer than anyone expected it to and it dwarfed every sequel in scale until Twilight Princess some years later. Ocarina of Time was the most complete, epic, fun and novel Zelda game and possibly the best game ever.
  8. someone already guessed IX Did smooves get a girlfriend or something?
  9. yeah, if you upgrade let me know. I'm really in no hurry right now as I only have one or two games that are pushing my card too hard and the ones that do push it don't really run much better on the mid range cards now.
  10. Yeah, all that reminds me of the 8800GTS 640MB and the 8800GTS 512MB and the 512 was a much better card because it had a newer GPU. Arg. so confusing. Tom's Hierarchy charts are great though.
  11. I used to love the way those things clicked when you typed on them. I bet an office filled with those was hell though.
  12. So which is the best Zelda game? Explain why.
  13. I like the US Phantom Hourglass cover better. Seems more artistic. I'm not against changing the box art, I'm against changing the box art because some pencil pushers in marketing ran some focus groups.
  14. Is there much of a performance difference between the GTX 260+ and the 460?
  15. I bought the GTX 260+ because at the time ATI had nothing even close to it in terms of performance. It's been a great card and I really like the Physx in a few games. I just don't know if I can stand the new huge super high power GPU's from Nvidia.
  16. Gamestop also has Just Cause 2 for PS3 and Xbox 360 for $20 but they're sold out online.
  17. Walmart is selling 1600 MS points cards for $15 with free site to store. jump on that deal! http://www.walmart.com/ip/Xbox-Live-1600-Points-Card-Xbox-360-Xbox-360/4630996?wmlspartner=NKa3hZyYoHA&sourceid=32759712282884543655
  18. ATI's naming right now is about as confusing as it could possibly be. I also have a GTX 260+ and am looking at upgrading before too long. Let me know if you do because I'm interested to see if you'd really notice a difference in most of today's games. Also, the ATI's right now run a much smaller GPU so they require a lot less power and give off less heat.
