Last chance to get in on the Kickstarter for the new Torment game. Just passed the $4mil mark, so it will be a hefty game. All of the original Planescape: Torment game and setting desigenrs are involved, as are some new names in fantasy/sci-f; Mur Lafferty, George Ziets, and Patrick motherfuckin' Rothfuss. Long live the CRPG!

Damn, that 45$ tier is very tempting since I missed out on the Wasteland 2 kickstarter. But after buying Infinite and Tomb Raider, it would really kill my remaining budget for the month and I wouldn't get anything for it until next year. Can't really justify it. :/
Oh well, guess I'll be supporting them at launch instead.

Game is dope, ending is pretty dope, too. Anyone who disagrees is a hater, and I ain't got time for haters, except when it is me doing the hating, in which case everyone else is a hater of my magnificence and should just shut the hell up, being haters and all.

I'm curious as to why there seems to be a 3rd party flight from the Wii U. I know what folks speculate, but I wonder what's actually going on. Is it that the Wii U is underpowered? Does the small install base not justify the costs of retooling multiplats for the Wii U's controller? Is Ninty tough to do business with?

The reviews that have dropped so far have been universally great, aside from a couple of contrarian or 'I don't get it" reviews. I pulled the trigger on an amazon pre-order for the $30 Take Two buxx and XCOM. If anyone still needs XCOM, let me know.

Selects the entire army. F1 selects idle workers. The only question I have is whetehr there's a way to hotkey the command "select three workers collecting minerals." Or do I have to wrangle them with the mouse?

Yeah. I know about the not queuing up and not stockpiling resources, but the only hotkey I ever use is F2. >.>

Thanks, FLD. I just need to treat SC2 as a keyboard-focused game rather than a mouse-focused game. I have some bad habits from the singleplayer campaign to unlearn.

Maybe. But Avellone's role will be to write a specific companion and then consult on the rest. Rothfuss will write an area and quests.The best WRPG's have had multiple writers; so long as the background "bible" is strong.

Well, I bought the damned thing. Heading over to the appropriate thread to announce my b.net info. The Wings of Liberty campaign is fun, very old-school but pretty. I am enjoying it.
