  1. Mother board, GPU and monitor are all ASUS, RAM is Corsair, I know you're supposed to be able to get them to play nice through iCue, but it keeps getting stuck or not syncing properly whenever I try to set up stuff through it, gave up on it and now I just set up stuff through Armoury Crate and iCue separately lol. I need to take some time to properly figure out this stuff and set everything correctly, if I had RGB fans it'd be a higher priority, for now it can kinda wait. Mouse is Logitech and keyboard is HyperX and those are screwed, there's no way to get them to work with other stuff, they work well right now so no desire to get anything new, but I'll likely go Corsair next.
  2. I haven't been able to figure out how to sync the lighting on my setup, motherboard, gpu and monitor don't play nice with my RAM lol, so I just match the colours best as possible and leave it at that. If I could get everything to work I wouldn't mind switching to a corsair mouse and keyboard (whenever they're on sale), just to have everything nice and synced.

  4. Moero Chronicle Hyper (Switch) Dungeon crawler RPG with monster girls, part of the Genkai Tokki series which includes Monster Monpiece, Moero Chronicle, Moero Crystal and Seven Pirates H. The story is pretty simple and silly. Monster Girls are attacking humans so Io, your character, embarks on a quest to find the only thing that can restore peace, the purify fabric, which turns out to be a pair of pure white panties, because why the hell not, also Io gets chosen by his village to go out and try to save the world not because he's strong or has a set of special skills, but simply because no one gives a shit if he comes back alive or gets torn to shreds out there. There's some decent serious moments here and there and some neat interactions between different characters, but overall it's pure silliness. Gameplay is OK, nothing out of the ordinary for a dungeon crawler, it's acceptable for a game where the main draw is the characters. Until you get to the epilogue. The epilogue is where things go to hell, after completing the main story you get keys to unlock sealed areas in each of the six regions, there you'll find stronger enemies and special bosses. Thing is, these areas just feel cheap, tons of enemies that can wipe your party in one hit, enemies with AOE paralysis attacks (getting your party into paralysed status is an instant game over), bosses with tons of HP and AOE attacks, traps, one-way doors that force you to retrace your steps, annoying stuff all around. Also, the game doesn't have checkpoints of any kind, if you wipe you'll have to reload your save. Something which I forgot and it cost me hours of progress. To make it worse, you can only save in town or in specific save points inside dungeons, really wish you could just save whenever, that'd make the epilogue dungeons more tolerable. Overall though, I had fun with it, there were some characters I quite liked though fans of more MonMosu style characters might be disappointed since all characters here are more human than monster. To give it a grade: Main game: B+ Epilogue: F
  5. NHK Reporting that he has no vital signs?
  6. Didn't know what to think of this new album from Get In The Ring, but this one's fucking awesome, def feels more death metal than Berserker. \m/ \m/
  7. HELL YEAH NEW REVOCATION!!!! \m/ \m/ One day they'll announce a second season... One day...
  8. Not feeling that new look for Vash, in fact, not feeling this new approach at all, 3D was expected given the studio but still, not a fan of how the trailer looks, trying to be optimistic about it though.
  9. Fate Grand Order NGL, This one hurts. Been playing for five years, since launch, but I think it's time to drop it. Started a couple months ago when I lost access to my account for a couple of days, realized not only that I was OK with not getting it back, but how stupid the system is. All other games I play let you bind your account to Google/Twitter/FB/Whatever and you can even easily move from one device to another, FGO on the other hand requires that you generate a transfer code and password, which are one-use every time you change devices you must generate a new one. Told myself I'd make it to the summer event, but then the anniversary quests were released (yup, I'm dropping this game during its anniversary lol) and they were a reminder of how much the gameplay has stagnated, specially when compared to recently released games like Counterside and Artery Gear, not to mention other games that have much better gameplay. How do we deal with really strong servants and strong team comps? Make it so enemies have multiple health bars, each with more HP than before, and they get massive buffs after each bar break. Some enemies have HP in the millions, while some of the highest HP player servants barely make it past 20K, plus enemies can spam evade, invincible, AND HP restore buffs. Oh and they can also remove all buffs and lower your defence, once again, without any cooldown. That, or force the player to bring story specific servants that are underleveled, or don't have access to all their skills. Clearing certain chapters became a matter of either having VERY specific servants, which meant getting lucky in the gacha (or throwing $1000s into it), having friends that had those specific servants, spend a ton of time trying to beat a boss using stall teams or use premium currency to respawn your team after being defeated. The grind was insane, having to grind items to get the thing you need to unlock the grind for another item that allowed you to grind for the thing you actually wanted. Grind is a common thing in gacha games, but at least other games have some sort of auto function that automatically clears stages or a skip function that allows you to quickly clear maps, making the grind easier/faster. In general, the gameplay and QoL systems have NOT aged well and are severely lacking when compared to other games. The gacha is one of the worst in any game I've played, though I managed to stay F2P, it wasn't rare to see people drop $100s or even $1000s and not get the character they were looking for. Even the story started to lose me after a while, not that it's bad, on the contrary, it's quite good, but the writing style has become a bit too bloated for me, there's a good story there, it's just buried under characters repeating themselves multiple times, other characters repeating the same thing several times (Shimousa was the worst in this regard) and other bloat. TL;DR: Recent releases made me realize that I wasn't having fun with this any more, the stagnated gameplay, bloated story and terrible gacha didn't help. Five years is a hell of a run though, specially as F2P.
  10. Is Deliver Us the Moon horror? I've seen some bits of it here and there and it looks like it might lean into the horror side of things in some areas, kind of what's keeping me away from it. On Topic: She Will Punish Them Basically Diablo but with sexy succubi and in third person also, no microtransactions. Got this one on early access a while ago, still not on the official "release" version but the devs confirmed it's content complete in terms of story so now I'm marking it as complete. Gameplay is pretty simple, just aim at enemy and left-click away, though there's also a decent variety of weapons with swords, two-handed swords, spears, axes, maces, hammers, bows, all the fun stuff, there's also some spells but they're kinda underwhelming in variety and effects, there's heal, fireball, freeze aura and resurrection, and of these fireball was the only one I found actually useful. You form a party with other succubi you rescue from dungeons as well as skeletons and zombies that you can get from a merchant, succubi are your main party that you can bring with you on quests while the other units can be brought with you, or assigned to protect your strongholds. There's four different types of quests, skirmishes, territories, dungeons and strongholds, skirmishes are short battles in small maps, basically just kill X amount of enemies, territories are larger maps with much more enemies and with a boss at the end you have to defeat, dungeons are how you recruit other succubi, they have infinite enemy spawns and the objective is to reach the prison, destroy the door and free the trapped succubus, strongholds are usually a large area with a ton of enemies and once you defeat a certain amount, the stronghold becomes yours and you can assign units to guard it as they will sometimes come under attack from large enemy forces. These stronghold defence missions can be a pain as they scale to your level, I had one with 260 enemies, all lvl 76 against my army that was mostly lvl 28, that was a thing. Your starting base is a large castle that has several areas locked, you can unlock them with crystals you get from missions and as loot from enemies, you can also buy a small house and later on, a palace, unfortunately, merchants can only be found in the castle, so you have to leave your palace, go to the map, go back to the castle, buy/sell whatever you need and then head back out to the map. Would be neat if you could have more merchants in each of your houses. All in all, I enjoyed it a fair bit, been playing since version .4XX and there's been a fair amount of improvements and content added, certainly got my money's worth out of it. That said, there are still some serious technical issues, in some maps framerate dropped into the single digits, sometimes skirmish icons appear under the map making them unselectable, items and loot will fall through the world and then they're lost to the void, your party can sometimes get stuck in geometry and there's no way to get them out other than just try and complete the area yourself, and other minor bugs here and there, for a version .9XX I feel like there's still a ton of improvements needed before v1.0.
  11. After thinking about it for a while, this one is the only game on my wishlist I actually want to play, all others are more in the category of "eh, I'll get to it when I get to it" or I already have them on EGS .
  12. Got recommended a new place for pastes, it's a bit far, but the stores I usually buy from have been fumbling some things here and there recently, these ones were pretty good. Def worth the trip. \m/ \m/
  13. Absolutely, love how my AKG sound, but they aren't the most comfortable for long sessions, the G733 are much more comfortable and wireless, but the bass is a bit too strong for me.

  17. HOLY COW, new Stratovarius after 7 years AND new Dragonland after 11 years!! ... and they're both pretty good!! \m/ \m/
  18. The good news, I was able to vote without any major incidents. The bad news... Not even in my most pessimistic predictions could I have come up with this: MORENA now controls 22 states, the remaining 10 are split between PAN, PRI and MC. So, across the country, people looked at the way things were going and decided they wanted more, and more and more. Of course, the other parties have their share of responsibility, PAN shot themselves on the... Not foot, but the head, with the VOX thing, PRI should get rid of Alito, in fact, they should learn from AMLO, start a new party with the current members, sans a few that drag them down hard, name themselves something flashy that makes them sound cool and friendly and just keep going, worked for the old PRI that's now MORENA, so maybe it'll work for the new PRI? PRD is toast now, and the rest of the parties are mostly irrelevant since they act as proxies for the big 4 (now big 3 with PRD disappearing from the landscape for now lol), this does however paint a bleak picture for 2024 and forwards. I'd like to think that I'm lucky, in that my state is not a tourist magnet, nor a big industrial hub, makes us a smaller target for Sinaloenses del Bienestar lol, but that doesn't mean we don't have to worry about that. So yeah, that's going to be a thing.
  19. This Sunday (June 5th), we have elections, governor elections to be precise, if the fact that polls seem to put MORENA's candidate ahead by a fair margin wasn't enough, dude went and did what MORENA does best, put some boogeyman in people's minds to cause trouble, once again citing their favourites, the elite-neoliberal-educated-conservative-aspirationists, he called all MORENA followers to So yeah, as if the whole voting process wasn't already a dangerous affair in this little slice of hell we call Mexico, I now also have to worry about what shenanigans these cultists will get up to. It's going to be a fun day... NOT!
