Yeahh, they need to fix this before launch. Hopefully the servers are just overloaded and they'll have more soon. EDIT Ended up being able to get in a squad with Sindo for a while, before the host lost connection or something. It's a fun game - getting damn tempted to buy it.

I just invited you Sindo - we'll see if it works. FYI - each time I get booted, getting back in has worked for me on the 4th or 5th try, each time.

Finally got in again. Going to try a regular match and hope I don't get booted and it saves my scores this time!

Ohh, I finally got in. Of course everyone else has given up by now, and it said it couldn't process my scores, but still. Uh. This is tempting. One round and it's quite fun. But goddammit! $60 for a game... told myself I wouldn't buy any more games at full price for a while... Ahhhhr. We'll see. EDIT Haaaa... and then I tried to join an operations match and got an error, which booted me back to the main Menu. 'Essential Game Objects Lost' Cool. We'll see if I can get past the main menu again... sent you guys invites just in case, btw.

I got into the region selection once - then it just sat at 'Connecting' for ten minutes. Now I can't even get to the region menu. After I click Multiplayer, I just get infinite connecting, or 'There has been an error and you have been logged out. You must log in again before continuing.' Repeat. RAGE.

It's because I actually have access to my PS3 for the first time in weeks, that's why, and the last time probably about as long. LAME.

Yayyy. More people I recognize from when I was more active at Kotaku.

As an American, the only reason I get jokes about Wales is because I occasionally watch some British television, read books by British authors, and inevitably stumble across jokes about Wales. After a while, you start to get some of them. Not all. Certainly not all. Come to think of it, I only bother making a quality post on Kotaku once every few months now - you get a lot more mileage for good posts here, since they don't just get lost after a day or so, and old conversations can be picked up at any time if someone likes - it's quite nice, really. Gives you more incentive to actually spend time writing a decent post, in my opinion.

It's now only a matter of time!

I'm hoping to get in tonight, after work. The way I worded the thread, was anything you're personally proud of, so if Dean's proud of that, it counts.

Nice scoop! Man, that would be pretty cool. Too bad it's in frickin China. Though, like you suggested, this could go wide if it does well - which would be pretty darn interesting. Imagine the gaming-style attractions they could come up with! If they can do something like the Toy Story shooter ride in Disneyworld... I mean, just imagine the possibilities. And then have awesome 3D CG rides like Star Tours? Do want!

I still haven't tried. Mister Jack's suggested time is right around when I get off work, so I'll probably do it then.

Not Kotaku and not about the redesign, but we don't have a 'Fucking Gawker' thread. I'm the first one to stick up for Gawker usually, and I'm probably the biggest fan among the TAY folk. It was not Anonymous that attacked Gawker, but a separate entity/hacker, Gnosis. Gawker, and Adrian should know this of all people. If it's a typo, okay, that's fine, but if it's deliberate, that's libel, and I'd like to expect more of Gawker. Hopefully they correct this, but I don't know how often Gawker corrects themselves... EDIT Okay, and related to the new design, comments are acting funky. My comments are disappearing and reappearing in response to comments on that article, where I mention that part is incorrect. Thought they were deleted at first, but I think it's just technical hiccups.

My list would scroll embarrassingly far, so I'm not going to post it. Right now I'm working on working through Jade Empire, though.

Hrmmm. That sucks! I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but it's downloaded. If I chose another region would I still be able to play with you guys? Or how do regions work in this game?
