I wish I could this weekend! I am craving it - alas, I won't be home this weekend. Gonna try and get home during the week though. I would recommend the second mode (I always forget the name - it's the one in the middle). That's by far my favorite - huge maps, long rounds. Guerilla Warfare is too freaking short and the maps are too small. You get massive chunks of XP on the second mode, too, because you're playing so long and getting points in so many different ways. It's loads of fun! EDIT Ohhh, actually I think I'm gonna be let out of the tower for a while tonight - probably in six or seven hours after we go shopping downtown, I'm gonna come home for some KZ3 fixin's. Atomsk, or anyone else, if you're around tonight, let's play! My ID is Carrotan if you haven't added me yet.

So the other day I raged a little on Atlus' official Facebook wall about the Catherine announcement. Today I get an Atlus Faithful Newsletter with, only, this, and nothing more: Strange coincidence, Atlus, STRANGE INDEED. I mean, it really is just a coincidence, but still, what the hell?

Dunno! I still need to beat KZ2...

I was a serious fan of the first game - there was nothing like it at the time, and it was a stunning experience. I think PC Gamer gave it number 1 on their recent 'Top 100 PC Games' list, and it's hard to disagree. At the time, it was really something, and I have extremely fond memories of it. Invisible War I played on the Xbox, and I didn't have as negative reactions as most people, but I tend to go easier on things in most cases. I remember enjoying it, and not being particularly let down, though I kind of hated what they did with the story/protagonist from the previous game.

I quite enjoyed the first game and the second is an instant-buy/pre-order for me. Looks like it's going to be a very fresh and fun MMO - without sub fees - hurrah!

I mean, I loved things about Fable II but I never finished it due to bugs. Fable I was a wonderful, solid game that didn't live up to the ridiculous hype. Fable III, I'm disappointed they remove experience points/leveling up, but I'm looking forward to playing a Fable game at 60fps and am sure I'll enjoy it plenty - I'm not expecting the world from it.

Ohh, woops, you're right. I'd kind of consider these series reboots, just considering how long it's been since the last entries and that they're new studios developing them, but I was wrong about the studio on Thief.

It's Ubi so I'm assuming they're gonna push it Multi-Plat - Deadly Shadows was as well, so I'd be surprised if it was console or PC only.

I'm pretty stoked that we're getting reboots of Thief and Deus Ex, my two favorite PC stealth franchises of my teen years. I had actually forgotten Thief 4 was actually happening (if it's already been announced, I can't remember). I'm away this weekend, but it heartens me to hear we have more on the way! I started a TAY Clan and will send out invites later. I guess once you're in one, besides being able to organize parties easier, it opens up a special 'Tournaments' match option you can participate in, which is pretty cool.

Okay, I might be raging, true, but I was confident Atlus would bring this over, as they've been so damn good about porting all their titles and being so good to their fanbase, responding to what the fans are clamoring for, and the fans are sure clamoring for Catherine. I'm not giving up hope they're not porting this yet.

It's not even coming out in the US though, so the usual Fox shitstorm will likely be avoided. The rating is pretty strange though...

WHAT. I did NOT think they'd screw their NA fans like that - they have such a good localization team and dedicated fan base! Grr... not giving up yet.
