  1. Here-here! Waiiiiiiit-a-minute... On-Topic: Don't worry about re-jigging. If there's ranks up to 100,000, we should be good. Dear New Icon: See you in a few months!
  2. From the latest PA Blog Post (Friday's): "There's a new group blog on gaming called No High Scores that has a hell of a crew behind it, and deserves a spot up on your bookmarks bar. Maybe it could go right where all your Gawker sites used to be."
  3. Is 'Dispenser' the highest icon rank right now at 1000 (gaming forum) posts right now? I ask this, because I see Mister Jacks is at 1700 and still has dispenser, and I just hit 1000 and also just got dispenser. Or is there something at 2000? If not, could we possibly get more 'icon ranks' at some point
  4. finally got around to finishing FMA: Brotherhood - so good!

So gooood. I loved both anime series - I'm so glad Bones redid it though to follow the manga - such a more satisfying ending.

Yeah, Monster has something like 74 episodes. But it's so good that you'll wish it was twice as long. I don't think I ever managed to watch less than 8 episodes in a single sitting.

I don't know if you were a fan of Lost, but if you were, you probably have an idea of how addictive Monster can be.

Ohh 74 is manageable, that's what almost what FMA had - I thought it went into the hundreds.

  5. Haaa. Weird. I JUST finished FMA: Brotherhood (after having the last six episodes to watch while it was still airing, then getting sidetracked) today, and was thinking about posting in this thread similarly. Teared up quite a few times at the end!
  6. Ya-hoooo! I confess, I cannot wait!

  7. Yay! That's one more for online play!
  8. I miss playing with you folks!

Still locked in the tower right now, but hoping to find a way out soon - and then - lots of MP madness! Yay! I misses it. = [[

  9. Ohh, nice catch. People always used that when criticizing Kotaku for non-gaming stories. Now they can't use that - clever move, Kotaku, clever move.
  10. I don't even remember that. I need to play that game again. I'm only on Chapter 3 and I am loving this game so freaking much. You must! Get the PC version though, apparently it has a bunch of extra content, and the visuals aren't too shabby done high-res.
  11. How about the opening episode of the Walking Dead where Rick puts a bullet in the little zombie girl's head. She's also holding a teddy bear. That's in the first few minutes. That was also very emotional. And that was actors, not a video game. If people get upset about this trailer then, like usual, they're just making a fuss for attention.
  12. BC was the off-shoot and Battlefield is the main one. Also, SP has been confirmed to be in as well for BF3. Coop even! Hahhaa dohhhf, I messed up my abbreviations. For shame!
  13. I know! My mind boggles, as to how they can produce so many quality adventure games, so often.
  14. I'm not sure - the Kotaku article doesn't mention the rights either. http://kotaku.com/#!5764610/kings-quest-finds-a-new-life And either I'm going crazy, or they removed some of the article's content after posting it.
  15. Holy fucking shit: http://pc.ign.com/articles/115/1150947p1.html Telltale is going to be doing a King's Quest reboot!? All the article says is, "More details at E3." I'm not really sure how that works - Activision has the KQ rights, if that 'Silver Lining' debacle was any indication. Wow though! I guess Telltale would be the appropriate company to do this, since the original team is long scattered. Man... I'm going to cross the heck out of my fingers on this one.
  16. The expansion pack to Quest for Glory V - it was in the making when my beloved Sierra online got bought out and canned. Such a sad day for the industry.
  17. The quest in Jade Empire with the drowned orphans in Chapter 2, after completing it, made me tear up a bit. Can't believe I never really played past Chapter 1 in this game till now!
  18. The other demo is for Shogun 2: Total War Ahh, thanks Ethan, I had a feeling that's what it was, but wasn't for sure.
  19. Ah, sneaky inflation. I was pretty bummed that DAII was $60 - I feel like I remember it being $50, but I didn't pre-order it early enough.
  20. Amazon is offering a $20 credit if you pre-order Killzone 3 - you now have no more excuses not to buy it and play it with me! (Unless of course you don't have a PS3 or something) http://www.amazon.com/Killzone-3-Playstation/dp/B002I0K6DG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1297996348&sr=8-1

  21. GET TO IT! Seriously, the ending of that game, so satisfying.

Must be nice to be in a suit all snug and warm!

  23. Have you ever seen the 'Nitpickers Guide to Star Trek'? There's a bunch of books under that title that go through the various Star Trek series and find all the plot and filming flaws. They're pretty fun, and all out of love, but still. Star Trek is pretty much synonymous with plot holes. I think Dr. Who gets it right with, 'Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey' stuff as a general explanation for everything.
