  1. I liked both Firefly and Serenity, although I watched them in reverse order. A shame really, it's the only sci-fi series that I found to be enjoyable to this day. Fringe is sort of ok, but a little light on the sci
  2. Haha. If it's aged 'relatively well' it's because it couldn't really get much worse. Still love that game though. The zoomed out perspective helps hide details. Remember in those class photos when teachers would always put you in the back, even though you weren't especially tall?
  3. That is awesome!! I agree, never thought of being creative with the desk myself. Good show.
  4. Due to lack of Knifewrench, I went with Batsword
  5. Woah! Missed thread, I'm quite down with photography, although I've seem to have lost most of my work. I remember my best stuff quite vividly, as shot by the Buiksloter Begraafplaats (cemetary), there's some quality stuff in there and also a shot where I look pretty good, sadly I have not been able to find this material foor a while. I'm thinking it may have gotten lost, which is sad, as there was good stuff there. Meh, I'll get a new camera at some point and I'll start shooting again, I mostly do nature/wildlife Also, the roadkill squirrel depressed me, sadness and a general sense of "taken too soon" eminates from his eyes, hope fading as light narrows. So sad..
  6. A 100 pictures of me will have a 100 different faces, none of them very photogenic, but I assure you I'm actually not bad to look at on a good day with low visibility. Really, I'm not! Wanted to contribute to the pile of homely misfits with something of equal or homely'er value, I present you with (the antiquated) D-K pictograph thusly; I have a few more, but as hosted on K'ites, most of you have seen 'em already. The picture of my ass is very much alive on this forum though, as with Kanji's, it's in the butt thread, guaranteed to deliver more viewing pleasure than that generic mess ^
  7. Was the original Silent Hill the one where you walk through the school and bodies start falling out of the lockers? Does it also have that skinned guy hanging in someone's backyard, or was this SH 2?
  8. Perhaps it's just me, but I felt unable to sympathize with a senior citizen as the lead character. Old people suck.
  9. Wow, Up did NOTHING for me, (Neither did Toy Story 3) and I'm generally quite sensitive when it comes to movies. Lion King gets me everytime though..
  10. I don't understand why Up is rated as highly as it is. It took me three attempts to get through it, and the movie felt uncoordinated to me. hmm..
  11. ASAARGH get it off! get it off!@! Hit it with sticks! .. Nah, it's fine.
  12. The pieces are finally falling into place..
  13. tongue-in-cheek racial stereotyping is considered humour, yes. I found it amusing, anyway.
  14. Well that's much lamer. .. I also don't know what Loney Island is so have fun with your stupid non-sex thread.
  15. Lost Planet 2 has fun "Mexicans", they're the comic relief.
  16. Hah! "entertainment exchange"
  17. Ah that's right.. I forget things
  18. Nothing. Absolutely nothing! It's awesome! I've done nothing but school and work since I was 12, I now have some money saved up and I'm taking this time to have a mid-life vacation. Perhaps it'll be a 6 month sebatical. I've succesfully wasted 3 months of free time, seeing as I quit my job half september. I had been working as a prison guard for 2 years at that time and decided to leave it behind for lazier pastures. I've been trying my hand at gamedesign, and I've made some small casual games, all of them stellar quality, obviously, but I have not taken the plunge for the Game Design course study yet. Partly because it's 8800 euros. Which I can afford, but it's still 8800 euros. I mean GODDAMN that's a lotta cash. So now I'm just taking a backseat, finding myself, getting in touch with myself, touching myself, and perhaps in time I'll start working again. I've skimmed some job sites already, but nothing really convincing. I've already had 12 jobs or so in the 10 years I've been working but nothing seems to stick.. ah well..
  19. I noticed Strangelove has a Grim Fandango shortcut, perhaps he can answer your question concerning its performance.
  20. I see, well I gave my copy of U2 to my brother because I gave up on the SP when I entered Shambala and was treated to 5 consecutive game over screens, courtesy of the adamantium-clad bulletrepellants that made up the opposing force. I seriously kept shooting the things in the face for entire seconds yet they would not go down. The regular enemies were bulletspongy enough without being supernatural, tyvm Naughty Dog. Never even tried the MP because I don't like to be involved with the crazy monkey barrel that is random matchmaking. I hate getting stuck with the metaphorical collection of headless chickens, i.e prepubescent rambo's with a deathwish. Finding a random with enough mental capacity to focus on results rather than adrenaline laced chest-high wall shootouts is so momumentally rare that I normally don't bother with MP Metal Gear Online was fun though, other than that the only fun I've had online was Fat Princess, Lost Planet 2 and Worms. tl;dr I don't have Uncharted II.
