  1. Is anyone interested in Detroit Become Human? Since the Switch version of Dark Souls Remastered was delayed, I looking for a single player game to fill the gap. I'm kinda getting burned out on multiplayer games that offer so little to "grind."

I don't think anyone is tbh.

I've got it, not played it yet. I like Cage games. @ me if you will.

  2. Huh, I'll share one of my favorites as well. I think it'll be pretty self-explanatory. TheRealSullyG
  3. Heroic Strikes are a pain in the ass now. Recommended Light 350 and Modifiers. Perhaps if the Light Level wasn't as high it wouldn't be an issue, but they've been unbearable to run through now. There's a "Pursuit", a.k.a. weapon quest, that wants you to run Heroic Strikes with a certain weapon. While there are other weapons of its class, they only drop from the Light 370 PvE Escalation events. So unless you can grind your way to those first, you have to gimp yourself with a subpar weapon in an unforgiving mode now.
  4. Star Wars Fans: The Last Jedi getting 91% on Rotten Tomatoes is because of Disney shills, but Solo getting 73% is because people are prejudice against prequels! I'm beginning to think Star Wars has become a worse fandom than the Rick and Morty fandom. One will get entirely butthurt and cry about their childhood and its constant ruined state; the other will freak out over sauce and yell "Pickle Rick" occasionally.
  5. What Jack said. It is a bit confusing because even the characters in-game aren't sure of what the actual goal is until the end. Even still,
  6. Also, why maintain servers for a pre-alpha game that will most certainly not exist either because it is forgotten or the battle royale craze has faded before the project is looked at again. Enough of their employees were heading off to work on Fortnite at Epic Games anyway, or just any studio that knew what the hell to do with itself.
  7. So yeah, 100%! Niflheim is much less grindy when you realize you can sell the maze materials for more Mist Echoes! Unfortunately, I got too greedy and sold all my Aesirbane when I needed at least one for my armor upgrade. Outside of the Workshop chests, you can only get Aesirbane from the miniboss rooms and pray luck is on your side when you open the Legendary Chest. Fortunately, you can just run straight to the minbosses instead of fighting all the enemies. That didn't click until I was on my last run for the material... Then again I didn't necessarily need the upgrade. I had pretty much defeated any true challenging opponent and would say Muspelheim is more about technique and combat expertise instead of just raw power. That realm was definitely a good mix of fun and challenging. Most enemies are fair challenges where perfecting your style of combat is key to victory. Still, Revenant are always a pain to fight. Those and Tatzelwurms because they like to hide half the time. I know there's the complaint that this game doesn't have that many bosses, but honestly I wonder if they don't count Valkyries. Those winged ladies can still kick your butt when you're at their level. Probably the hardest part of the game, aside from finding all the collectibles. Though, get this, I hadn't realized I had the material for my final weapon upgrades sitting in my inventory. I had seen the menu so many times, but after Niflheim it clicked. As for the story and a certain weakness:
  8. God of War 100%, baby! It actually wasn't that hard; a bit grindy in a few parts.

  9. I'm still playing it because I feel I can Platinum this game, but I'll say I've beaten... GOD OF WAR! It was the other day, and while I knew what would happen half the time, but I still thoroughly enjoy the story and love that we have a father-son story the likes of The Last of Us' father-daughter story. I don't have any true nostalgia for the prior God of War games, but to me I enjoy this Kratos more than I could the edgy and rage filled Kratos of the original trilogy. This game deserves all the praise it gets. Even when I have other games asking to be played, I couldn't stay away from God of War too long. My only complaint would be that while there's a sense of exploration, I feel the game doesn't properly harbor that sense to explore. Quite a number of times I would see something I could finally unlock, and almost immediately regret it because the enemies where Lv 7-8 while I was only Lv 2. The flip side to this, where you are at Lv 7 or 8, is going after the collectibles. If you're missing a few ravens, expect to run halfway across an area and then backtrack to get to back to the mystic gateway. Things happen to get blocked off when you progress through the story. And I guess some of the Valkyries are bull, but the others make up for it. They give off a strong Dark Souls vibe with how challenging and varied they can be to fight.
  10. I know, right? I also made the mistake of infusing my current chest armor with a 337 Light I got from a clan engram. Guess what that does; it increases the level requirement on that armor! So it went to Lv 26 and I was without my best chest armor. I tried doing the story at 294 Light, but that was ridiculously hard with all the adds and funneling the game throws at you. It wasn't until my fifth death that I realized I could use one of my weaker chest armor to at least survive better. Ana Bray is cute, but the story felt like it was missing something. Again, we have an iconic character, mysterious location/entity, and epic stage to fight something of tremendous power. Yet, it's empty when you're basically someone's errand boy and you've got a single Vanguard rep being grumpy. And the attitude Zavala had towards our Guardian? Excuse me? I know you're the Vanguard leader, but I've saved everyone's collective butts many a time over. Direct that attitude up your butt for a sec and let me blow up a damn worm.
  11. Batman Ninja If you like Batman, it's an alright flick. I enjoyed most of the film, especially the visuals and voice acting. The story suffers here and there though it had the potential to be a more epic tale of Batman & Co. in feudal Japan. There's specifically a character and scene that are just weird. Like, I watch anime and I've seen things, but it's a weird tonal shift compared to the rest of the film. I would say, if you're more of a casual fan of Batman, this is a fun rental. I love Batman so I wanted to own it, and I am a sucker for ninjas. I want to post this because on Amazon there are quite a number of sour customers who are trashing it with 1 Star reviews. This wasn't going to be Mask of the Phantasm or Return of the Joker. It's just a fun animated DC film; about the only thing DC can get right for the last decade.
  12. Well, time to subscribe to Netflix again. I have been meaning to watch that new anime Aggretsuko too.
  13. Silly FLD, the moon would never get kidnapped because where else would Wizards come from? Also, I'm still on PS4. Probably won't try out the expansion until later this week.
  14. 2 out of 4, huh? Perfectly balanced. As all things should be.
  15. Finished a huge project last night. I want to relax, but there's that little feeling that something might go wrong.

  16. I went with the Beta set first because I have good enough Gems to fill it out. Alpha if I need to fill some gaps from doing a mixset.
  17. Well, you really only need to do the event 5 times for only the armor and 2 more times if you want the Charge Sword. Honestly, if you could only do it once, the pants are the highlight item of the whole set. I also like the hair for the look and that it helps with Critical Eye and Weakness Exploit.
  18. I wonder if any of you guys have reached this point in the story yet. Where Kratos goes back to his home for something. Super vague for a reason.
  19. Anyone ever watch Interviews with Monster Girls? I recently watched it after having some clips appear in my Recommended section of YouTube. I was rather hesitant to watch any because "Monster Girls" tends to be a ecchi trope in anime. However, the show is far from perverted and is instead wholesome and amazingly charming. It boils down to a show about a biology teacher trying to learn more about the lives of these "demi-humans" or "demis" as they like to be called. He's a straight up nice guy who looks out for his students and respects their personal boundaries. These girls are also not supernatural in their "monster girl" aspect. Though it's hard to fully believe it's scientifically possible by mere biology, these girls have a genetic mutation. Being a vampire is more about having physical enhancements and handicaps to light and blood. A dullahan (think headless horseman) is essentially handicapped as they must carry their head and be careful not to suffer any head trauma. Again, these girls aren't undead, but living, breathing human beings. There's also an ice woman (Japanese folklore Yuki-onna) who has a lower body temp and under stress can make the atmosphere colder around herself. And there's my favorite character who's a succubus, but not for the reason you think! Succubi are basically women who have strong pheromones that cause arousal to surrounding men. It can't be controlled at will however and efforts have to be made on the succubus' part to not become a public hazard. Something like living alone and far enough from others because even sleeping men can get, well, wet dreams if a succubus is near by. The one we watch believes she can't ever have love because any relationship she'd have would be "fake" since she has such a strong pull with any straight man. So she wears a tracksuit and continues her career as a high school math teacher, where eventually she meets the biology teacher and other demis. There's only one season, but in October there will be a second and I'm looking forward to it. Again, it's a very charming and downright human anime that explores these girls' lives because even though it's unusual, it's also relatable to anyone who is different outside their circumstance.
  20. This is a local level hack that doesn't make people vulnerable, but makes the system a resource for potential piracy. That said, I don't expect this to be a hurtful blow to Nintendo. The whole reason I got a PSP ages ago was so I could use it as a portable emulation machine. Like Ethan said, this can be fixed for future versions, so if anyone wants a well-resourced hackable device, they would either buy one or buy a second Switch. I say a second Switch because chances are this can potentially damage the Switch, and like the article was saying, Nintendo could implement server-side methods to find "illegitimate" Switches and banned them from online. Kinda like the days of the OG Xbox. I know a few guys who would love to have the Switch as a Linux machine, but may not want to put their internal data at risk. Of course the Switch isn't that expensive and these guys got the funds if they want.
  21. If you don't want to be spoiled on God of War, tread carefully on YouTube. I'm not getting the game right away, so from experience if you see a thumbnail, try to ignore the title.

  22. What edition of Windows 10? Does your aunt have access to the admin account of her local machine? You can enter in a new product key rather than a clean install. I'm just confused why a company would install anything on a employee-owned machine, or give away a company machine without wiping most everything.
  23. Well I know what I'm playing instead of Overwatch: Retribution. As much as I want that Moira skin, it's a complete RNG toss-up. Even with the Arcade lootboxes, you're mostly going to waste your time if you seek out a few items. With Monster Hunter World, it's fun throughout the whole game. You battle a giant beast of legend and craft your character to your play-style. New updates to keep things turning and cool gear you can easily get with time and effort. Barely any RNG shenanigans!
