As faiblesse said, the sales figures pretty much back it up as been the majority, and therefore prime, example of a console gamer. They are a massive marketing force. And it's not just PC that they affect but console games too.The rise of FPS titles, games being "dumbed down", too much is DLC, etc. So because this "majority" is dumb, the assumption from PC gamers, and you did say this in your previous comment, is therefore valid? That I as a console gamer, though I do play on the PC, should fall under your statement that I am less knowledgeable compared to the PC gamer. Yes, Corsair makes quality products. No worries there. Power usage has gone down over time (wait, right?) so 800w will last you for the interim if not the long term. I'm running on 530w (630?) and this is a DX10.1 system. I still wouldn't need to upgrade my power with a more powerful card unless I went for the whole dual card thing.

Fuck a DVD drive. Unnecessary in this day and age. I think the biggest hurdle with figuring out what's going on with buying a PSU is figuring out if what is being marketed is the actual power the thing puts out rather than peak and dumb shit like that. IMO the PSU is one thing you really should go with a quality brand on almost above everything else as it's going to be powering every single thing on your computer.

I think for a while even cross-platform console ports were shitty. It's just a matter of what sells.

"forced matchmaking" to me is more choice than blunder. Console users generally prefer not having to go through a server list and hope they'll find a decent server. Stuff like no WS support is ridiculous though. I really don't know how they fuck that up so badly with parts (this happened with Dead Space and Bioshock IIRC.)

The problem with this sort of thinking is that even with proper grammar and spelling someone could be terrible at making their point or expressing themselves. Their opinion might not be one you should be taking seriously in the first place. Spelling and grammar really shouldn't be that big of an issue as long as it's still easy to understand what a person is saying. There's not much of a difference between the following two things: "Hey, would you guys like to see my new dog?" "hai would u like 2 see my new dog" It comes down to how much you want to be pleased by a post when the person posting it obviously doesn't care to do things to your exact specifications. When you hear certain accents or dialects do you respect those people less because they don't fit in with your idea of the "proper" way to do things? I compare posts on the internet to verbal speech rather than something like business communication. People type like they talk for the most part. It comes from their personality. Not giving a shit about typing out with proper capitalization and periods doesn't make the person any less intelligent. Don't forget that different writing styles fit different sites. People can have multiple voices.

Complaining about grammar just makes you look petty. Anyways, why do you think that Kotaku/Gawker in general considers that a top comment? You're not thinking with page views/ad-revenue in mind.
