E3 trailers have blown for years now.

Games that you hate that everyone else seems to like
Faiblesse Des Sens replied to Yantelope's topic in General Gaming Chat
Did you make the mistake of taking it seriously or something? -
I just don't see what the big deal is or why this is so outlandish. Sure, it's ridiculous in of itself, but its in a title that is full of this sort of shit. From the sounds of things, like a lot of stuff in DNF, it's intended as a joke but it's not funny. Anyways, perhaps I just don't take alien rape as seriously as the rest of you. The concept itself is too out-there for me to consider in any sort of serious light, especially in a non-serious game.

Aliens using another races body to spawn more aliens? How is that anything that WTF? That sort of thing happens in nature and in other media. Hell, it can even be compared to zombies where they have to kill the "host" to spawn another zombie.

Wait, what was so bad about that again?

Game of Thrones (Current episode spoilers)
Faiblesse Des Sens replied to Can's topic in Entertainment Exchange
So then what, we start a separate thread for the TV show up until the current episode, then merge it into a "game of thrones first season" thread next week? Simple solution: Just label your god damn spoilers a hell of a lot clearer and be understanding of people who haven't read the books. I really don't see any sense in labeling spoilers for the show WHEN THEY HAVEN'T HAPPENED ON THE SHOW YET. I really don't know what you were thinking. You could argue that any spoiler from the entire series is a "show spoiler" under that definition. Except we've already been over this in this thread. Now we're going over it again. Plus, you amending the label doesn't change what was already spoiled (which I foolishly assumed was no longer going to be a problem.) -
Game of Thrones (Current episode spoilers)
Faiblesse Des Sens replied to Can's topic in Entertainment Exchange
...so in your show spoilers you put book spoilers? Thanks asshole. -
The Kane and Lynch games have been fairly creative though. It might help them to have something that's already established.

Hitman: Casual Edition. It'll be the best seller in the series.

I'll say it once and I'll say it again. It was Advertisements: The Game. -
From my experience being drunk only makes movies better. In theater anyways.

Well, yeah. And the rest of the film was about a guy who can absorb kinetic energy, an insanely powerful psychic/telepath, and a dude who can control metal. Not to mention other realistic classics like the guy who can 'evolve' at will and temporarily. I think "generals being manipulated" is on the more believable side of the scale (even if it was told in an oversimplified manner, no doubt to avoid political boredom). Yeah, no. Theres a clear line between reality and make believe in these movies. You put these characters in real life situations to ground them in reality, but when the reality is as crazy as the make believe stuff, it kind of all falls apart. If their goal was to make a "real" film with comic book characters in it, they failed. It should have just been a straight up comic book movie like Kick Ass or Scott Pilgrim where it clearly is all fantasy. Im really just going by what happened in Watchmen. Both the comic and the movie did this thing way better. Well, except for the goddamn octopus. The movie did that way better than the comic. In the movie there was actual proof, real life evidence as to why they thought Dr. Manhattan did that shit. In this one? Not really. Just makes humanity look REAL stupid. And as much as I hate the human race myself, were not THAT dumb. Except Kick Ass is supposed to be real. The movie fucked that up.

At a midnight launch though?
-
So it's not garbage because of its gameplay or anything important but rather because of loose license usage? Yeah... Bit extreme bro
-
Yes. That Alien game made by Ubi even talked about a 2 player mode where one player used a classic while the other used the Wii U controller.
-
This is probably the best explanation of DNF we'll see.
-
I thought it was miles better than 1 and 2. A hell of a lot better plot and characters. D-list mutants? What, in terms of how well known they are? Who cares?

Hit up XDA. Also, if you're on an Xperia Play, then it's not basic Android, iirc. It wouldn't surprise me if there isn't much considering the device doesn't seem to be hugely popular and it's been region limited for a while (in fact... I'm still not sure if it's out in the US.)

I'd love to know how I'm "under" myself in the first place. Quite the cop out reply.

You're calling people idiots, it's the kind of thing that is designed to offend people. Where do you draw the line? If I say that the dumbest thing that bitch you call a mother ever did was get knocked up and shoot you out of her filthy twat, does it not matter because it's on the internet? Even if you don't care, should everyone grow thicker skin to meet your standards, or does it seem more reasonable for you to just speak to people without insulting them? Just an alternative point of view to ponder. I'm not calling anyone specific an idiot though.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Faiblesse Des Sens replied to AcidCrownie's topic in Multi-Platform Games
I saw it too and I liked what I saw, but I most definitely DON'T like Bethesda's attitude of "So what? It'll be a console port. Got a problem with that?" It's obvious the game won't do a single thing that the consoles aren't capable of doing, even in the PC version. I expect low draw distances, continuing to divide the game world into "cells", and two-line conversations. Hey wait, what do two line convos have to do with consoles? Plus, it's on PC, you can just increase the draw distance like every other game ever. -
$35? That seems a little too generous. I remember at the midnight launch for Portal 2 and Mortal Kombat that the trade-in "value" board had both those games for around $22-$25. How did they have a trade in value at launch? Anyways, yeah, $35 is around what I see them pay for newly released games.
-
Oh yeah, since you have to do that all the time. What you're talking about is one of the largest misconceptions of PC gaming.
-
Yep, originally it was blacks, then it was gays, then its something else. X-Men was born and is fueled by whatever prejudices exist in the world at the time the stories are written. That having been said, First Class was a very good film, with some extra writing for the Xavier and Eric. Never said it was a bad film. It's an awesome film. Why so defensive? No one said that you said it was a bad film. Anyways, why not view the don't ask don't tell joke as a military joke?

People sure do get their feelings hurt quite easily. Get over yourselves, it's the internet.
