Nintendo to reveal new console at E3
Faiblesse Des Sens replied to Vargras's topic in Nintendo Games
I think this rumor mill is a ton of fun so far. A lot of ridiculous stuff, a lot of stuff that could be true, a lot of stuff we WANT to be true. It's been a mixed bag and I like that -
*scratches head* I can't remember what I did at the end of ME2. Then again, I'm planning to replay the whole series so whatevs. I'll probably make "pro cerberus" and "anti cerberus" files to see if there's any big changes. Based on how that worked with ME1 stuff porting to ME2... likely not. But hey they're putting an assload of effort (or at least money) into this so who knows they might surprise me.

I know. That's very innovative for a console SDK -
She turns against that in the end, and flat-out tells The Illusive Man that she's leaving Cerberus if you take her with you to fight the human reaper. I never take her, so that's probably why I don't know that. Does she do this if you don't have her loyalty? Actually, some of these characters are designed pretty well. Ashley and Tali happen to be a couple of those characters. Bioware is no stranger to being able to actually muster up a good piece of writing every now and then. Case in point: Aribeth de Tylmerande. It's okay writing but not full of chock and cheesiness. Videogames still have a lot of ground to go and Bioware isn't exactly a shining example of how to do relationships and sex scenes well. It's certainly an improvement over what's been done in the past though.

"Innovation reinvented" Oh god that sounds stupid. Innovation is always innovation. Anyways, Easy portability!?!? WHAT!? -

It's a Nintendo product, they're definitely not going for "green." Not to mention that playing video games in of itself isn't green. That's a whole different debate and I really wish you hadn't said that. -
I can't believe you guys care about this this much. It's a shitty half assed dating simmed section of an action-heavy RPG.

What are you listening to now?

^ I knew exactly what that was going to sound like based entirely on the name and title of the track. -
I ignore that shit so much in RDR lol

What are you reading right now?

Finished up Norwegian Wood. Last part was pretty moving. Moving onto Kafka On The Shore -
Finally get 5.1 to work in games (works easily in movies via AC3 filter) via Virtual Audio Cable and AC3... but it has noticeable lag. I CANT WIN

If grey fits a world and its look then I say use it. Though yeah Kovach is right, there have been screenshots/videos that have some color going on. Considering it's a "dead" city I'm not really sure why anyone is expecting color from that area.

Looks very Mass Effecty.

So rather than talk about the storyline you talk about the structure of the missions of the games.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

If we're bringing DLC into this then you can forget about the whole "can't play after the ending" argument. Not to mention it's DLC, it has nothing to do with the core game and the development of it. Who said consoles require simplifying things? This is a series that's already been on consoles and worked just fine. -

Annnnd all of the sudden I have a feeling the game is being geared towards the consoles now. Sorry, but not using the absolute latest tech doesn't mean something is geared towards consoles.Oblivion, Fallout 3, and New Vegas all seemed to me to be "geared" equally. -

GC wasn't as powerful as the Xbox but more powerful than the PS2 (which came out a year earlier anyways.) -

That's how I read it but it's just one guy in one interview. -
So having a more focused storyline is a step back? They're two different experiences.

How did that reddittor get it? Anyways, seems like April is on track with March. It's plateauing.
-
And why not?

I don't get what you're even saying. It only takes that long if you take that long. All the do is make the direct route hard to get through. Hell that's still more freedom than most GTAs

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Quite simply I'm talking about getting rid of invisible walls not something that adds or changes the content of the game. Stuff like that I find to be fair game as it's barely above a bug fix. The same can be said for the community patches New Vegas has. It involves editing game files, i.e. something you wouldn't be able to do on the console version and something Obsidian didn't do themselves. It is not a legitimate argument against the state of the game vanilla-wise. I could just as easily set the New Vegas entrance fast travel discovered when you first start the game as easily as I could remove the invisible walls. Except that's cheating and not a bug fix -
Kind of cliche but I definitely think it's become the modern answer for a very good reason: Amnesia.

It just seems like this in particular isn't worth your time. If anything I would have pointed out how a lot of people in general have reacted in that way instead of just pointing fingers at Kotaku. Been on reddits gaming section in the past 72 hours?
