Hahahah, you were actually offended by how they handled the christian kids in that movie? Good lord (no pun intended.) It just seemed like the director got bit by a christian as a kid and made this movie as a result. Didn't find it charming or witty or even very believable. I was mostly just insulted about the fan service to John Hughes. This movie is no John Hughes movie. I can't believe how off base you are here. Christianity was one of the least important things in the movie and the christian characters could have been replaced with any sort of "goodie two shoes" sorts of characters or hippies. It was also not trying to be anything close to a john hughes movie. Easy A had a sense of humor. Thus poking fun at how cheesy yet endearing it was.

Minecraft fans can't take a joke (even though for a certain section of the community it's totally true. I feel bad for Notch sometimes.) Anyways, DICE doing something without EA? I wish. Unless they split off, EA won't let them do ME2.

It wasn't so much that they were going for "new ips all the time" they were just seeing what new IPs they could turn into franchises. It worked very well for Dead Space, okay for Army of Two and Spore, and not up to their expectations with Mirror's Edge. Kind of sad that Army of Two got a sequel and ME doesn't get one =\

Mirror's Edge is just under the wrong publisher. It's too small for EA. Someone else would likely see the game as being worth it.

Ugh, I never understood the gamers' "we're owed something" mentality. No one owes you shit. Anyways, super bummed. I would have really liked a new ME. Video games will always be video games anyways. If you get bored it's more so your fault for not searching for new games than anything else (especially as the independent market has flourished.) We all go through phases of not being into games.

Easy A It was witty, smart, and didn't take itself seriously which is exactly what it needed to do. Emma Stone was great and really pulled off her character with an energy that it doesn't seem anyone else could have done. Amanda Bynes is probably the only bad thing thing about the movie. Bitch can't act. Anyways, think a "Mean Girls" style movie with a different direction and a more appealing and believable lead.

So your problem isn't the movie itself but what other people think of the movie? That's exactly how NOT to critique movies.
