What functionality is taken out vs functionality that is just bugged out? All I can think of is one tag instead of many and you have to hotlink pics. FYI: the notification system is there they're likely just troubleshooting it. When io9 switched, it worked for me for a bit.

I noticed when you get games for free with Plus, you only own them if you maintain the subscription. I don't really like that, at all. For example, I had Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee with Plus, but in Information it had an expiration date. It works like OnLive. You know what you're getting for when you pay for it!

Well I guess it's a good thing I didn't notice you could do that. What mode were you playing?

You can use unlock points in the match? Um... what? I thought you had to do it from the menu, then equip it in match. Also, you can survive for a surprisingly long time without a pistol. I just used my points to unlock the invisibility upgrades.

My story with the patch- -Sign in, it downloads, installs -Error message when trying to go online Whatever error message I got was like this: blah blah blah you need to sign out. -Hit the PS button, go over to network, hit triangle, sign out, sign back in (all within killzone 3.) -Connects (although a bit slower than yesterday) and everything works fine

It's not like Samsung would supportscustom roms in the first place so what's the actual issue there? Is it hardware? I just don't see why you would have one rom but not another

It feels faster than KZ2 but it doesn't feel as good IMO. I was one of the people who really liked the weight. There's still weight, but much less, and much mess noticeable differences between gun weights. Also, it's a beta, of course it's going to have problems.

I've never been on top of weekly leaderboards or anything like that (from what I remember) but I was particularly adept at Resistance 1 for a while and I was certainly on top of the board for most games whenever I played. That's the only competitive stuff I can think of. I 100%'d GTA3 and VC back in the day.

I want to add DA:O to this but the game just isn't compelling.

In terms of looks the new layout (in blog mode or top story mode) is much cleaner than the old interface.

There's a dock and a netbook (that has a dock for the phone that turns the phone into the guts of the netbook.) Two different things. The dock itself is cheap. The netbook + phone is $500 (which is why we are saying that the pricing has killed it because as you point out... its a screen, keyboard, and connector.)

I checked out a gallery after you mentioned that and you're right. The galleries aren't completely terrible anymore and are quite nice. I think the biggest plus here is how snappy everything is and not having to go the home page over and over.

Just use a reader and go to multiple sites. No one site is great.

I think the phone + dock is a good deal. The phone + netbook is completely shite.

using nothing but the keyboard to navigate is pretty cool. j/k through each article, skim it (or just read the first paragraph like the old view) and move on.
