  1. Wouldn't be too hard to throw a lot of them in anyways.
  2. Well hopefully this is the last time they use "Arkham" and move onto something else to explore.
  3. That sounds pretty stupid. At least the game itself will be fun.
  4. I did play through Arkham Asylum, and this style of game fit that environment perfectly, but now they seem to be opening it up to city exploring, I just don't think the style of game will fit. I think it would need to some crazy breed of Urban-Chaos/Hitman/Mirrors Edge. Regardless I'll be buying it and playing it through. This is what I'm wondering... I've probably missed it somewhere, but why is it called Arkham City? Has part of the city been turned into a new asylum? Or has it just been taken over? What gives?
  5. Looks pretty good although doesn't seem to be as deep as something like Black and White.
  6. Someone's being petty. All of my posts are getting minused. =D
  7. What do you do, if you don't mind me asking? Given what you just said it seems like someone in your position would be ultra-sensitive to this subject.
  8. Mass suicides of people dumb enough to believe in anything involving 2012? I can only hope...
  9. My problem with a lot of these examples is that they'd get people fired BEFORE the internet. Especially the one with the cops. I have no idea what goes on in your head that makes you think this is a common thing. Compare the number of FB accounts, the number of people on FB with jobs, and how many have been fired because of it (that wasn't something blatantly stupid like a status update about hating your boss.)
  10. Just looked through the top 50 results and didn't see that article. This could just be due to location. Either way, it's one extreme case. I don't think that extremes should dictate the majority.
  11. The burden of proof is on you, not me. I skimmed a few articles (including one that had 14 different cases) and none of them were like what you mentioned.
  12. Shouldn't we have progressed enough that penetration should at least be standard?
  13. I like Geralt and most of the main characters... it's just everyone else that sucks! Plus, it's nice to play in Polish, too. Personally, I loved the way my first chapter ended. Really showed that this game went to places that other games wouldn't touch all because of your own actions. But yeah... getting there kind of sucked. Game def gets better near the end of the 2nd chapter and the 3rd.
  14. Well considering how overused the rest of them are I haven't grown tired of this set yet =D
  15. I found that GTA4 got really graphic if you slowed down the pace and actually watched what happens when people die. People crawl around and get shot realistically and whatnot. The crawling is really creepy, as you don't have to put people out of their misery and you can let them die slow. Euphoria at that point was already at a really high level I just think people were too busy doing so much at once and doing it so fast that they didn't notice how solid it was even before RDR
  16. It is common practice for companies to check your Facebook account nowadays, some companies reduce their applicants by about 50% on Facebook alone. I don't think it's really fair that a drunken night out as a student or whatever can come back to haunt you. To be fair though, just set your profile to completely private and it's not a problem. I know this. But we're not talking about a quick glance like many companies do, we're talking about wading through 2 decades of a person's internet history, which is more than a bit obscene.
  17. Well Dean you have to realize that it was only done in response to all of the people trolling/spamming metacritic with 0s. Which is really unfair.
  18. What makes you think this corporation is going to dig 20 years back into your facebook updates to find out about you?
  19. I'm about 3 badges in and the variety seems pretty normal. A few new pokemon every area.
  20. The thing is though... in 10-20 years why aren't you just going to laugh at it like any other stupid thing you've done? I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to think of extreme cases (and the same could be said about good things you've done) but in my eyes the past is the past. Whether or not it's stored in a database for someone to bring up isn't a big deal to me. It's not different than someone remembering that it happened. Plus, if someone was specifically looking for something, that means that they're going in with an idea of what that vague memory might be. Just think about all of the embarrassing stuff your parents could probably say that you did. They're the only ones who would bring it up, and putting it into internet terms, means they would be the only ones searching in the first place. Of course, if you did do something serious, and it still hasn't been dealt with in a decade or two... well I don't think the internet is going to change your situation to begin with. That would be a more immediate effect (with your job/family/friends/etc.) Long term effects just don't seem to be there in my mind. At least, not anything different than how this works with people to begin with.
  21. God of War 3 was surprisingly graphic and I really thought it played into Kratos' character and the theme of that title.
  22. I think the most popular of series tend to ovrrstay their welcome. The Walking Dead is another example.
