Well it does both. =D Personally I think the netbook option is awesome (since to me, these are two classes of device that battle each other. Obviously tablets are in there, too.) I wouldn't use this as a desktop replacement but it's awesome to see the technology moving towards that.

I've never actually played Twin Snakes, but just from watching the cutscenes on youtube... they go TOO far with it whereas the rest of the series has just enough restraint. A fat guy with bombs strapped to him rollerblading isn't as weird as your stealthy protagonist doing a backflip onto a missile.

The US art goes for broader appeal than actually being "art" is the whole thing. It's just a marketing method. They definitely don't want to turn anyone off their product.

There's nothing wrong with their expressions. Also there's nothing awful with the art on the ME2 cover. It just looks like the CGI they used to promote the game.

I like the new look the latest has and the gameplay sounds nice... but it'll be a matter of execution. Also, the lara croft name sort of turned me off at first, but the guardian of light was actually pretty good.

There's nothing wrong with the Heavy Rain or ME2 covers they're just not very interesting. I would say the same thing about MVC3 but it's such a cluster fuck of weird character art. Agreed on Portal 2 being meh.

A desk is only so big. The further you move away from the monitor (away from your usual point) is going to be less comfortable. I'm making the point that on the couch you can do both. And you don't have to hunch down over a keyboard. A controller moves up and down and wherever you want it to. A keyboard does not. Your argument is essentially that stationary= better.

Eye strain from starting at a monitor for hours on end from far too close. Being in the zone doesn't depend on the chair. This isn't a 90's marketing campaign.

Well I think of it this way: On a couch you can move around, change positions, sit in a recliner, sit with other people, you don't get eye strain, and it's easier to set up a surround system. There's just more options.

Couch>chair It's a million times more comfortable of a position.
